We had a lot of fun here. It was perfect for our needs—half of our group wanted to shop at Mashpee Commons and the other half didn’t. It was a handy alternative to shopping, right in the Commons! The golf course wasn’t elaborate like others you’ll find on the cape, but it was new, well kept, and decorated so cute at every hole! It was perfect for us. A lot of thought was put into making it cute. We loved it. And the price—can’t beat it! Two thumbs up all around!

I have seen Barbara for acupuncture for years. She is the most thoughtful and well informed healer I’ve worked with. She really listens to your needs and caters your treatment. I always leave feeling better. She’s helped me specifically with managing stress, headaches and fertility issues. And I’ve recommended her to my family and closest friends.

Our docent was a tribal member descended from early members of the Wampanoag tribe and very familiar with the history and willing to share her family and tribe's legacy. The museum is a little jewel, with a dugout canoe and wigwam in the back. There's a lot to learn and our host was generous in sharing the tribe's history up to the present day.

Little affected by development, this tidal stream remains one of the region's pristine environments. Experience the river on shoreside foot trails or by paddle.
I had some stuff to do in Mashpee but was antsy to do something outdoors and fun. The sun came out and it was mild and this seemed to be the answer. I was just five minutes from the trail head. I inadvertently chose the Thorp Trail and followed it for over a mile. It took me over three small foot bridges and runs parallel to the river. The path is wide and well marked but be aware there are several steep hills, though none more then 20-30 feet (6-9 m) high. There are numerous great views of the river through the trees as well as cut offs that bring near the water's edge. Though it was well past peak for foliage there were still some impressive splashes of color. My total hike was about three miles (5 km) and was a perfect way to spend about an hour. It is free to enter.
