Off the beaten path,in the southern part of Malta, lies the stunning fishing village of Marsaskala. With the harmonic lifestyle of traditional Malta as our backdrop and the Mediterranean Sea outside our door, we offer a dive base like no other. Our doors are open all year round to welcome divers willing to experience the beauty beneath our seas. Wreck can be enjoyed within less than a minute travel time to shore or boat, varying depths between 18m and 80m. This way all enthusiastic divers may explore to their hearts content at the level most comfortable to them. Between tug boats and planes, freighters and destroyers, anyone can dive what pleases them most. The caves and reefs that stretch along the Maltese Islands can be reached by our boat so every nook and cranny can be enjoyed. When learning to dive you expect care and attention as well as a dedicated professional. We know that and therefore insist on the importance of attentive instruction at all levels of diving.

What an outstandingly restored fortified tower, presented in an impeccable condition, displaying the history of the defence of Malta. Although only open three days a week, entry is free and full access is available. Worth the visit.

This is worth visiting if it’s your first visit to Malta as it’s interesting to see how the rock was cut out. In fact these are right along the seafront promenade not just at Zonqor Point. It’s interesting to see how salt was gathered many years ago.

As we love walking it was no problem doing so in and around the St Thomas Bay Area, some great views of the sea lapping up on to the rocks and salt pans, and taking in the lovely surrounds.

The tower is not open to the public because it is undergoing restoration works by Fondazzjoni WirtArtna. There was an organized fund raising tour yesterday and I went. This place is fascinating and the view from the rooftop is to die for. I would recommend anyone who has the chance to visit and failing that take a walk around the tower and in the surrounding ditch.
