Citizen park is the perfect place for your family. There is a small playground and picnic area across the parking lot. Be sure to get the combo pass for the Aquatic Center and Mini Golf. We visited here 4th of July week and we are so glad we found this place. It was fun for the whole family from our young daughter to our teen boys. We loved the lazy river, the speed slide and diving board. There are two huge slides that were awesome! Kids had fun playing water basketball while I swam around. Just a note that to use the speed slide and diving board, everyone needs to pass a swim test first and get a special wristband, as the water on that end is over 10' deep. Mini golf was a fun way to dry off after swimming. There were ball diamonds and tennis courts, but we did not use those. This will be a new family tradition on our trips to Manitowoc.

This art museum is housed in a Victorian mansion and has a wide range of displays throughout the gallery spaces as well as in the rooms of the mansion itself. There are numerous rooms which showcase life in Victorian times as well as a beautiful library and other exhibits. This (free!) museum is worth your trip any time of year, but is at it's most beautiful during "Christmas in the Mansion" throughout the month of December.
