East of Anatlaya you'll find the clear and beautiful river Köprü. Shortly after Beskonak is the starting point of the canyon and a white water rafting tour. Two Roman Bridges mark the beginning. The canyon is 14k meters long.
What a wonderful and breathtaking experience. Stopped here for an hour or so and just marveled at the beauty of the natural wonders. The water here is clear but cold, lovely for a brisk dip to cool you down in the height of the season. The Ancient Bridge is a marvel to see.

Was wonderful to sit and imagine all the things that used to happen here. Again, a lovely part of history still available to us. A man was playing a flute when we were there and the reverberation was magnificent. Beware of young local lads offering to take your phone and take a pic of you there. You then have to pay!

We saw the Fountain from the footpath as we walked into Side from the bus station. As with most of Side's ruins there has been extensive restoration rather than conservation which spoils things for me somewhat. There is an information board at the roadside but there is no access actually to the Fountain.

We actually visited to see some rare owls, but there are tourist boat trips where you can take in the scenery, perhaps swim while moored up and end up in the lakeside restaurant.

Stopped off whilst visiting ancient ruins. Very small not sure it was worth either the time or money. The Amphitheatre opposite is worth a visit.

Plenty of Roman masonry still existing as a base for this mainly Seljuk bridge built on the Roman foundations. Absolutely lovely to visit, very romantic, very much a part of the strong Roman and pre-Ottoman heritage of Aspendos. It was very hot, about 2pm, we stopped to nibble at the little 'roadside caff' by the bridge, called 'Kayikci restaurant'. We ordered fresh orange juice, fresh lemon squash, ayrans, teas, coffee, aubergine salad, some grilled meatballs and chicken, and lots of salad. Everything was delicious and very very inexpensive, and this is a kind of friendly Turkish restaurant that fills an instant need when visiting in Nature. Delightful and highly recommended, the whole experience!

This site took some finding, take the road towards the Dam and start looking for the turning on the left when you reach Bucakseyler. Then drive up through the village and out into nowhere for several miles. It is remote and tranquil and nature is taking over but you can still see the layout of the city and how lovely it must have been. Looking out you can see miles over the surrounding country and down to the coast. One of our favourite sites on this trip.

Might be the most historical and beautiful zone in Side. I really liked there, walked 2 times in a day. In noon the atmosphere was different but in the night it was much different. It makes you feel the all history and the meanings of those coloums. Recommended!

worth a brief visit on route to the rest of the Romasn town as you have to go through it to get to the town and car park, very busy with foot and motor traffic, care needed when taking photo's near the road as the pavements un-even and Turkish driving is point and go.
