A family-friendly farmer's market comprised of 35-50 high-quality, local farm, food and artisan vendors- meat, eggs, produce, bath & body products, unique cuisine and handcrafted items. Distinctively located on a gravel and grass lot with a beautiful 15 acre tree farm backdrop.

Craft breweries abound in the United States and the greater Houston area is no exception. I have visited lots of them, in part because I’m a beer writer and like to seek out new brew. I love when I find a brewery that has something extra to offer, either outstanding beer or some other feature that sets it apart from the rest. And one brewery that does, indeed, offer more than most is Lone Pint Brewery in Magnolia, Texas, just a short drive northwest of Houston. Lone Pint has been around for several years and has made a name for itself as a brewery that goes the distance in terms of quality. Its Yellow Rose IPA is consistently ranked among the best beers brewed in the state of Texas and while you can find it in area grocery and beverage stores with little effort, there is something special about tasting it fresh, straight from the tap. The other beers offered here are just as good and if you visit, the best advice I can give is to sample a full flight so that you can admire several beers in one sitting. Lone Pint Brewery offers tours of its facilities, swag for sale, and best of all, a large outdoor beer garden. The outdoor space is dog friendly and there is a stage for live entertainment. This is vastly improved compared to the brewery’s early days when there was a small, covered space and tight quarters for live entertainment. Now, you can visit most any day of the week, order your favorite beer, and bask in the great outdoors. And if it’s a weekend, there is a good chance that a live band will be on stage, adding even more to the atmosphere. This brewery doesn’t serve any food of its own, but it is common to find food trucks onsite, serving up local fare. The food is often made to pair with the beer, so you get the best of both worlds. If you find beer that you can’t live without, you can order a growler to go, and there is a good chance you will want to do exactly that. With such amazing beer and the large, open beer garden, Lone Pint has all the ingredients I demand when I visit a brewery. It is one of the best in the state and a brewery worth taking the time to visit.

Nice park to bring the kids. Short hiking trails and a playground. Small water works for kids to play in. Bathrooms have improved over the years. Need to get out of the house for a few hours and bored? Nice place!

I was visiting friends in Houston, and needed to pick up some traditional English Crumpets for Breakfast. This shop is a real gem, which stocks many of our dinner table favourites and some proper chocolate. Many thanks to Sam for helping us out. Keep listening to Heart FM!! Will visit again when I am next in town.
