This show is well worth the money for all ages of the family. We stayed in the Venetian and walked across the road into this vast shopping mall. City of dreams is at the very back of the mall in its own impressive theatre. We were advised not to sit in the front rows as during the show water is splashed or thrown during the performance. (These seats are provided with plastic poncho’s for protection.......if your brave enough!) We were captivated for approx 2 hrs and after went up into The Hard Rock Cafe in the mall)for dinner complete with a live band which were fabulously entertaining.

This sprawling mansion once belonged to a prominent Chinese Literary figure whose writings were influential in opening Chinese markets to the rest of the world. The home dates back to 1869 and covers an area of approximately 4,000 square meters. Having fallen into disrepair over the years, it has since undergone a complete restoration/renovation. A small exhibit shows the painstaking process that brought this mansion back to its former glory. Old photographs and traditional craftsmanship were utilized. This exhibit truly gives the viewer an appreciation for what you see today. While most rooms are empty or sparsely furnished, balancing both Western and Asian influences utilizing heavy wood, plaster and stone is the real highlight here. When the light is right, there are many wonderful photo opportunities both within the house as well as in the long courtyard. The house itself is a little hard to find. My advice is take a taxi. If walking, it is located close to Chapel of Our Lady of Penha.

If in Macau you should find the time to walk the Historic Centre. Lots of shops and restaurants. It’s a busy location so watch your valuables.

The name Galaxy implies the celestial heavens above – with our laser show, we’ve more than lived up to it by touching the skies and beyond. As one of the largest laser shows in the world, our nightly showings employ state-of-the-art beams synchronized with surrounding music. With eight showings a night and a different spectacle every time, it’s a Galaxy MacauTM highlight that you can see from across Macau.
And it's free. It costs the casual viewer nothing. The laser show was quite spectacularly mounted. The flash of colours was incredible, almost kaleidoscopic in parts and I ended up very favourably impressed, as was my wife.

From the moment you step into the glass-fronted elevator, you are in for a treat. Soar up the tower to a breathtaking 223 meters in under 60 seconds. Phew! Watch Macau take shape beneath your feet as you travel up. There’s so much to see – the Macau skyline changes so quickly. Enjoy amazing 360° views from the level 58 Observation Lounge over a “Cafe on 4” coffee, and treat the kids to a tasty ice cream or a soft drink. Then take your Macau Tower experience up another level! A serious adrenaline rush awaits you on the level 61 Adventure Deck. Take an outdoor Skywalk, or Bungy Jump from the tower with world-famous A.J. Hackett’s Urban Adventures. Do you dare?
You get a perspective of the development the casino taxes have been funding. Not the highest but worth a visit

I am not a gambling man. But having seen the casino at Vegas, in can definitely compare the both. Macau venetian casino is bigger and grander than the one at Vegas. It would be worth your while to take a walk around and feel the hope, despair, happiness, Joy dispersed in the air...

The Panda Pavilion was initially not a part of our itinerary, we actually found it on the Tourist map and instantly decided we wanted to visit. And boy, was that a great decision!
The Pavilion is large, spacious, uncrowded (as most tourists do not go here) and has a large variety of animals to see including ofcourse the Giant Pandas and the Red Pandas.
Coming to the Star Attractions - the Giant Panda enclosure has 1 hour sessions. The enclosure is huge and houses 4 pandas- mumma, papa and two 1 - year old male siblings. It is preferable if you visit during their lunch hour (we took the 1pm session)- as pandas do only two things, eat and sleep, and they are much more fun to watch doing the former!
They are insanely cute and adorable with all their antics and incessant bamboo eating. Do not forget to take loads of photos and videos!
The Souvenir shop is a must visit. It has lots of cute Panda themed gifts which are very well priced. We came back with tons of coasters, magnets and luggage tags.
All in all, must visit if you would like to see Giant Pandas!
