Bike Hire Made easy, bikes delivered and collected free of charge for only £15 per day.
Channel bikes are the best if you want to bike along the scenic routes of Camber. The bikes are excellent quality and the customer service is 5*. They deliver and fetch your bikes and are really super nice and accommodating. Would highly recommend!

Golf course for me are based on: Pace of play, condition, quality, layout and most importantly price. Clearly Lydd ticks all the boxes here. Won't go into detail for each but despite the car park looking busy and the club house empty when I arrived I still managed to get round in less than 4 hours (temp was 36°c so it was a leisurely pace rather than being held up) Can't really comment on club house due to Covid but the staff were friendly enough. The course was expectedly dry but the greens were still in good condition (noted an earlier review criticising this) and I walked away with 27 putts so not bad at all for me. Bunkers: Why no one has mentioned these us beyond me, they are bigger than some beaches I've been on, I think the longest one must stretch 50 yards of not longer. Theres also plenty of the to find. Overall a great course for less than £20 a round (clearly dependant on when/how you book), I'm not sure if I had a great game or if the course is an easy layout as I finished 10 over par with 3, yes three 6s on the card. Either way I'll be going back.

We took our grandson and 2 friends to Lydd Karting circuit for his birthday and we have taken him several times before. Each time we go we have great service during the booking stage, and brilliant, good humoured and thorough briefings and info when we arrive. The "racing" is always well marshalled and again, good humoured and fun whilst being completely on-the-ball and observed. We will be back!!!!

These pre-WWII long range sound detectors really worth visiting if you’re visiting Dungeness - I find them far more interesting than Jarman’s house, the train line, the lighthouse and the nuke power station. We park near the end of Prior Road and walk across the field on a diagonal towards the right then along the boundary of the caravan park. Just walk along the path between the caravan park and the lake (which is a flooded quarry from dug out shingle). After a few mins you’ll come to the shingle pathway on the left that leads out into the lake - follow that until the end of the path. You can’t get physical access to the mirrors unless you take a long ladder to span the moat that surrounds them. They do open the bridge for access at certain times of year. Google maps in satellite view makes the walk easier as you can see the path and see where you are. There may be quicker access via the caravan park but we didn’t try that. There is no public info nearby so I presume they don’t want too many people visiting them.
