A circular walk in the West Looe valley to St Nonna's Well (also known as St Nun) where the local legend is that if a bent pin is not left as an offering, clouds of piskies will accompany the visitor home and cause mischief. 6.4 miles. Steepness: moderate.

Nice little shop with a good range of different items for reasonable prices. Dogs welcome inside but not much room.

We stumbled upon this lovely little place whilst exploring Looe on holiday - the owner of the shop was very welcoming and clearly explained the process of creating our goodies. I spent about an hour and a half painting a coffee mug (my partner didn't fancy his talents with a brush) which was very enjoyable and surprisingly therapeutic. Once I was finished the shop owner took my details to have the mug posted home as we would be leaving before it was ready to collect after glazing and firing. The cost of postage (and the whole process really) was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend spending some time here, and will come back to paint again if I'm ever in the area!

COVID -19 UPDATE Talland Church will be open on Sundays only for private prayer between 10.00 and 17.00. Set beside the South West Coast footpath, between Looe & Polperro, Talland Church is a place of peace & tranquility. TALLAND CHURCH as we see it today was not built to serve a large community but to maintain a holy site where the Christian faith had been established some 1500 years ago. The three Lancet Windows in the West Wall date the present church to the 13th century and much of the old woodwork & carved pews remained unspoiled by religious changes. For more about our Church at Talland, its history & characters and help with ancestral research please visit our website. We cannot guarantee winter opening of the Church building but if you are making a special trip to Talland Church please email in advance to ensure the building is open. The Churchyard and grounds are open all year. Thank you, enjoy your visit.
I have loved this ancient spirit filled church for over 60 years. The tower is separated from the body of the church by an arch way which covers the entrance to the church and the separate entrance to the Bell tower. The church is believed to have been built on an ancient ley line with the alter being over the junction of two ley lines. The view over Talland bay from the cliff top above the church is beautiful and soothing even in the rain! The bay below has rocks that are naturally tinted with pink and green.
