We had a family outing and loved the raptor center. Lots to see , demonstrations, up close viewing of birds by handlers. Good for kids and for all walking abilities. The people working at the center are knowledgeable and friendly. Great morning adventure, easy access, easy parking and family friendly prices. Bathrooms too.

The Morse Museum is home to the world's most comprehensive collection of works by American artist and designer Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848–1933). Galleries feature works such as jewelry, pottery, paintings, art glass, leaded-glass lamps and windows; his chapel interior from the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago; and art and architectural objects from his Long Island country estate, Laurelton Hall. Exhibitions also include American art pottery, late 19th- and early 20th-century American painting, graphics, decorative art.
This museum was an unexpected gem! We traveled to Winter Park to see something at Rollins and then had time and looked into this museum. It is a museum of American decorative arts and so there is pottery and other paintings as well (a Singer Sargent, for example) But it is most impressive for its Tiffany collection! From the World’s Fair CHAPEL INTERIOR to the many items, including porticos and jewelry and drawings.
If you have a moment, watch the short video, at the entrance, about the Morses and how this museum came to be. It’s very informative and it makes you appreciate the museum, and its importance, even more.
Free parking and a very reasonable entry price.

Visit Wekiva Island day or night and experience an island oasis just outside of Orlando.
We landed in Florida during unusually cold January weather (courtesy of "the Bomb Cyclone"/Polar Vortex) so when we'd read about a "Friday Night Bonfire" at Wekiva Island we incorporated it into an afternoon visit to nearby Wekiwa Springs State Park. Wekiva Island is fascinating and...MoreThank you for coming and visiting us! Wekiva is known for showcasing the "real" Florida. Our locals enjoy getting an escape from the hustle of central Florida. We can't wait for you to return!

Nice park with playground for the kids, perfect spot for picnic, just staring at the lake, or walking for exercise. Fun nights when the food trucks visit.

This is one of the best places in Central Florida to play Pokémon go! My son, myself, and a whole lot of friends come here 3 - 4 times a week to hit the stops.... The park is very safe and it is a great place to relax and spend time with the family...

At Red Cypress Brewery, every decision from the beginning is guided by one principle: is it going to make our beer better? Fueled by a love of craft beer and desire to bring the beer culture of the West coast to Orlando, Red Cypress opened its doors in October of 2015 and we're proud that our founding members and management comprise Central Florida natives and UCF alumni. From brewing with locally-sourced ingredients, such as Florida orange peel in our Fruit de la Terre Saison, to branding our beers as homages to the eccentricities of the Sunshine state, like Devil's Chair IPA, Red Cypress is proudly Florida born and brewed.
What a fantastic time we had at this brewery!! Beer was great but the service was outstanding!!! such care and interest from Kim and Chris... they really took great care of us. Offering samples and ensuring we had a great time! This brewery is over an hour away from home... but willing to make that drive back! Keep up the great work Red Cypress Staff!!! Thank You for an awesome time!!

How awesome to have this amazing trail system right here in Seminole County! Well kept, this trail is appreciated and enjoyed by hundreds each day for biking, running, walking, roller blading! When Mom visits we hit the trail with her walking and riding a bit in the wheelchair so no excuses for not enjoying the Seminole Wekiva trail!! Enjoy

We enjoyed our visit to this lovely park and we especially enjoyed touring the historic home there. Our docent guide was very knowledgeable not only about the house but also the history of the area.
