Klinker Brick is a nice, casual spot for a wine tasting, and no reservations required. We tasted a number of their red wines and they were generally good, although nothing outstanding. After a nice time chatting with the lady pouring our wine, we took a glass outside and hung out drinking some wine and looking at the vines. A nice, relaxing stop and wine tasting.

We normally skip a visitors center, too touristy. This was a cute one though. We stopped in for a map and we got our first wine tasting! The young man working the desk (josh?) was a wealth of knowledge and guided us with helpful hints about the demographics and agritourism industry. Stop here first, it’s worth a few minutes!

We love Michael David wine and visited to enjoy a bottle in the beautiful gardens on the property. We were able to enjoy the Reserve Collection of Wines when we visited and really enjoyed the tasting. Tasting of the reserve wines is $10.00 for five wines however the fee is waived if you purchase a bottle of wine. We purchased ten bottles of wine. We had them open a bottle of wine to enjoy with our friends in the gardens. Much of the area near the pond was closed off for a private event which was very disappointing however we were able to find an seat back by the play area. They have a restaurant on the grounds which serves great food and wonderful pies! My husband loved the world famous tortilla soup.

Extremely large winery and very active. Wine tasting was conducted with their reserve wines, not available in the grocery stores. Very Tasty! Sue did the tour and provided unique information. Tasting is $5 and the tour is $5. But if you purchase wine, the tasting price comes off the bottle.

Lodi Lake Park is beautiful all year around. They have a Nature Trail, swimming beach, boat dock, rental boats/pedal boats/canoes, a playground and plenty of spaces to eat, throw a party, bbq or whatever. You can fish in the lake and you can use Personal Watercraft and power boats in the river behind the lake.

We've travelled to Berghold Estates from Florida several times as part of our destination vacation package. The wine is exceptional and great variety, which goes without saying. What really stands out is the unique character of the tasting room - from the bar that comes from a brothel back East to the custom made gifts available to remember your visit! I'd highly recommend Berghold and if you have an opportunity to go during one of their events - go ahead indulge yourself, it's worth it!!!

The Lodi Wine & Visitor Center recommended we stop here and we were not disappointed. Oldest vines in the area, quite the historical background, and good wines. They have a cool little tasting room, chickens and roosters, old barns, and more to check out. Super friendly owner and staff folks the day we stopped by. We decided to join their wine club! Pet friendly place, just way cool.

At Harney Lane Winery, we celebrate our family’s rich history in farming as the basis for our future. We have been proud stewards of the land since 1907, farming vineyards on Harney Lane and surrounding areas for over 5 generations. In 2006, we took a leap of faith and decided to develop our heritage even further, by bringing you exceptional handcrafted wines from the very same vineyards that we personally farm. We continue to remain family owned and operated, and are proud to be 100% estate grown and Certified Green. Our winery has the unique opportunity to manage every element of the winemaking process – from the vineyard to the barrel to the bottle. When we began making wine on our property, we could never have imagined what an incredible experience it would be to create something new out of something old.
The service here was excellent, and so are their wines. We had a great time learning about the vineyard, the wines and the family. We purchased several bottles to take home, and even purchased a couple to to enjoy outside. We brought a little picnic of cheese and charcuterie and enjoyed their outdoor area after wine tasting. They have a nice fire pit area outside as well on colder days. One of the staff even came out to bring us blankets because it was chilly.

The WoW Science Museum is a fun place for all ages. We did a group birthday outing to WoW and everyone (parents too) enjoyed the museum. The main agenda is to learn in fun with hands-on, interactive ways. The museum is a good size, not overwhelming for little ones. It's located in cute downtown of Lodi. Highly recommend and will go back.

We traveled from the Bay Area to view the fabulous Sand Hill Cranes for their namesake festival in Lodi last weekend. Our nature bus tour drove us out to Isenberg Crane Reserve. They say the birds prefer fewer vehicles so the bus is less stressful for them. We saw many hundreds of cranes as they dove in at sunset. Their seven foot wingspans are quite impressive. Their distinctive songs are refreshing to hear. This is a wonderful reserve and well worth the drive for that special sighting. Or just to see the sunset!
