What a great bar ... Rueben made us feel most welcome as did some of the regulars. Beer selection and cocktails all very good !

We had a very extensive guided tour that we thoroughly enjoyed. The museum is a gem. The history of timepieces was covered and the museum is laid out by geographic regions and the docent let us interact with a few clocks. We highly recommend visiting.

The Caldwell County Courthouse is a marvelous example of the architecture of Texas County Courthouses. Built, I believe, in 1893, the building is an historical landmark that has been beautifully maintained over its long life. When in Lockhart, take a little while to visit this Texas treasure.

Great little toy/candy shop. All kinds of great nostalgic candy and fun activity books for kids. We weren’t expecting to find this in a small town. Want some butter beer? Check. Pop rocks, check, Ice cream, check. Rare sodas and candies are an amazing find.
