Was there last May of 2019 and was told the Distillery is not open to tourist. But i did enjoy visiting the little town of Coquinvillier and had a nice lunch at the only restaurant there.

Cerza is a hidden gem that doesn't seem to be very well known even in France. We loved it so much, we went there this year again after having spent a week in July 2017. We stayed in the lodges both time - they are very comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen plus heating AND air conditioning. You can choose to relax in the lodges and then saunter over to the main Park area whenever you want during opening hours. This is also a great base to explore Normandy - we went as far as Michel St. Mont one day. There are wallabies, deer and different birds even around the lodges, plus a decent play area so my daughter was never bored even in the lodges. I don't think we switched the TV on even once. BIG PLUS this time - the lodges have great WiFi connection this year. My wife was able to work from there on a couple of days.

The Basilica is set upon a hill, it is a very steep walk from the main train station in Lisieux. A very beautiful setting. Please note St Therese is NOT buried here, she is buried in the town at the Carmelite Convent, so please bear this in mind when planning your trip. Taxis are available to travel around the town. The parents of St Therese are buried in the Church underneath the main Basilica. The Upstairs Church is very beautiful and there is a relic of St Therese on display in the upper Church. The art work on the roof is also quite spectacular. There is no restaurant onsite there is a nice book / giftshop on the grounds. The staff are extremely kind and helpful. They made our visit very welcoming.

If you are a devotee of St Thérèse or want to experience her story (Story of A Soul) of her childhood memories, a visit to Les Buissonnets will bring them to life. I’ve been here several times and each time I savor the life and teachings of Thérèse. It helps to read her manuscript before going for a greater appreciation. Nearby visit the Carmel on rue du Carmel and see her relics, Chapel where she served and place where she spent her last 9 years until age 24. The Basilica of St Thérèse and St Pierre Cathedral are also amazing places to experience the saints lives including hers and her father St Louis as well as her sisters

A beautiful chateau, tucked away from the main roads. It was very quiet due to Covid 19 but it was nice to see it without alot of other people around. The accompanying information leaflet gave us plenty of background on the history and room by room inside. If nothing else the gardens are gorgeous to walk around on a sunny day - there are also a couple of beautiful peacocks and lovely to see all the ducks and swans in and around the moat. A very nice place to visit.
