You’ll have three beaches to choose from in Lindos: calm Pallas Beach, secluded St. Paul’s Bay, and the main beach, Megali Paralia. Save time to explore the town itself, too. It’s a bit of a hike up to the acropolis, but the view is magnificent.

Wow, such a spectacle from when you 1st see the castle walls on the approach be it land or sea. You need good shoes to negotiate the steep hill side and narrow streets, and there are many paths up to the acropolis. A short Que and 12 euro and you enter the walls. more steep steps and uneven ground all the way to the top. Lots of information boards to explain the huge history of the place, fantastic wonderment of how they built and lived in this amazing fort and then the views OMG Take your time on the walk up (and down) lazily wander around the ruins and soak up the drama. Fantastic.

We really didn't get on with Lindos; parking atrocious, too crowded and difficult to navigate. Fortunately we found what we were looking for more by luck and suddenly spotting the bell tower. It costs €2, you won't be allowed to take pictures and both men and women will need to cover bare legs and shoulders (coverings provided) but it's well worth it if you like churches. It's also nice and cool inside. The main building is completely covered in frescoes of bible stories with a "doom" picture at the back representing the day of judgement. There is a small exhibition of religious artifacts in a side chapel. It's all kept in good condition and very atmospheric with Greek orthodox church music playing. Probably the best €2 you'll spend on the island!

We first saw the unique Bay from the Acropolis of Lindos. Driving down to it we passed a fine Soccer Field, had free parking and an easy walk down to the beach with rentable Cabanas. The Bay is beautiful, water is clear. You can see the rim of the Acropolis and out through a narrow opening to the Aegean. Historically, there is a Chapel commemorating the visit of Saint Paul on his 3rd. Missionary Journey.

There are several beaches around Lindos so this review just covers the sandy beach bay where the tourist boats land. Excellent sandy beach with plenty of sunbeds and parasols to hire. At the back of the beach are several restaurants and bars. Ideal for people watching. From this beach east uphill access to Lindos old town which is a must visit. The whole area is very attractive.

Stunning, worth the drive from anywhere. Good parking if you get there early, lovely cafe on the beach. Sunbeds very comfortable and reasonably priced (2 for 10€), hubby and I felt very safe with the addition of a lock box.

Took the fast boat 1 hour crossing to Lindos on Wednesday to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The booking and organisation was very good. Well organised for our safety, and social distances. Four hours spent in Lindos, enough time for a drink, something to eat and a spot of shopping. The crew were friendly, enjoyable experience.
