Great attraction for all ages. This long and exciting coaster is a buzz and safe for all ages. It starts with a ride up the mountain in the cable car, where there is a restaurant and many trails to walk or take the coaster back down into Lienz. It is very reasonably priced and worth a second go.

This beautiful mountainous park, the center of which is only accessible by foot, provides experienced hikers with a wide range of challenging routes.
Absolutely a must visit in Kaernten. So many amazing attractions you could stay here for a month and have something to enjoy. A paradise for nature lovers indeed, I am absolutely looking forward to going back there!

We had good fun here, admiring the views, spending time with all the animals and coming down the roller coaster at the end.
We arranged all our activities through Christian at 'Adventure Austria'.
Would thoroughly recommend using him, really helpful and arranged any activity that we wanted to do.

It was not what we expected. Personally found the artist to be dark and depressing. No photography is allowed and charged 7.50Euros per person.

The hotel on the Tristachersee has superb food and sits right on the shores of the lake. The ambiance in the restaurant is charming and the host really enjoys making special desserts right at your table.
It is not a casual restaurant...rather a smart one for a special occasion. We went there this year for my birthday and enjoyed it very much.

The church of St Andrew is a must for those who want to find out more about Lienz's history.
The largest and oldest church in Lienz is located very close to the town centre (10 mins by foot) and it's spire can be seen from just about everywhere.
The architectural building, paintings and gold decorations inside the church are wonderful to view even if churches are not your thing.
The church grounds and also very pleasant along with the town cemetery where you can stroll through and gaze at the immaculately kept shrines and gravestones. Towards the back of the cemetery are very large - almost tomb like graves (presumably from the rich and prominent families of Lienz). Nearly all of the gravestones are lit with candles at night making a strange but pleasantly nice and relaxing atmosphere at dusk time. There is also a large memorial for the war victims.
An excellent restaurant, cafe, bar is located just outside of the church which is well worth stopping in after you've strolled through the cemetery and seen the church!

I took the “Felbertauernstrasse” for the first time – went from Salzburg to East Tyrol. I was simply impressed by the beauty of the Mountains, fields, trees and houses next to the road. A scenic drive – will never forget that experience and I’m looking forward to take this road again very soon.

Don't miss walking down three steps and walking into this beautiful, luminous little church. Beautiful three altars, worth a visit!
