We are Leicester's first dedicated bouldering wall. We have over 700sqm of climbing for all ages and abilities.
I climb here quite a lot - the staff are really supportive and helpful, giving you lots of tips when climbing. There is a great chilled vibe, with everyone supporting each other. It doesn't matter if you are a complete beginner or a pro, everyone is non-judgemental and just want you to do well. Try it and I'm sure you'll love it!

Leicester Museum & Art Gallery is a world of discovery with collections and displays spanning the natural and cultural world. General entry is free to all visitors. On the historic New Walk, the museum is a family friendly day out with galleries including Ancient Egypt, Dinosaurs, Wild Space, the Victorian art gallery, Arts & Crafts gallery, Picasso Ceramics: The Attenborough Collection and Leicester's internationally renowned collection of German Expressionism. The museum welcomes a vast array of temporary exhibitions, featuring works from the collections, touring exhibitions from national museums and a programme of contemporary art and craft displays. The museum hosts a range of events from curators' talks to lunchtime concerts, a cafe and museum shop.
What a wonderful museum. It is packed full of exhibits including, dinosaurs, natural history, Egyptian artefacts, arts and crafts, ceramics, Victorian art. My favourite was the exhibition of children’s clothes. They were so intricately made with fine needlework and stitching. Children would enjoy going through the tunnels in the wild life section. So did I!

Farndon Fields is an award-winning farm shop situated on the edge of the beautiful historic town of Market Harborough. It has developed over the years and today the farm shop showcases our produce grown on the farm, quality meat from local farmers, and a large selection of fantastic local and British food that has been hand-selected by Kevin, Milly, and the team. We love growing, cooking, and serving fantastic food at Farndon Fields. We strive to provide our community with an outstanding shopping experience and an environment to enjoy our local food, be excited by the seasons, and experience food that has been grown on your doorstep in Leicestershire, Northampton, and Kettering areas.
Visited Farndon Fields farm shop to use a couple of gift vouchers my wife’s sister gave us as a present for our Golden wedding anniversary, I’ve never been a fan of afternoon tea most hotels I’ve eaten afternoon tea are a bit of an afterthought and highly priced at that. However this is not the case at Farndon Fields their version of afternoon tea is of a different order perfectly sized sandwiches fresh home made scones just the right amount of jam and clotted cream, beautiful two bite cakes of a high quality sweet pastries made with all butter with a superb macaron, we enjoyed this with a nice bottle of Prosecco. Would we visit again absolutely my wife wants to try the savoury version.

41 Club is a UK association of ex Round Tablers. And so it was that as my penultimate monthly even as Current Chairman, I organised a trip to Belvoir Brewery for a merry band of 9 +driver. We received a friendly welcome from Colin, ably assisted by Michael (an ex pub landlord) behind the bar. Colin is clearly passionate about his business as a brewer and purveyor of great beers! After an interesting visit 'behind the scenes', coupled an informative talk by Colin on his "career in brewing', and the processes and materials involved in the craft of brewing, we retired to the lovely bar / restaurant to sample Colin's wares, and enjoy some delightful local produce as part of our" Tour Package". More beers followed before we poured ourselves on to our mini bus, for the drive home. An excellent evening out, which thoroughly recommended to beer buff. Or just take a lovely drive out for a light snack, a glass of beer, and be sure to take some bottles away with you to be enjoyed at home! "Thank you Colin and Michael" for a thoroughly enjoyable and informative evening!

The award-winning King Richard III Visitor Centre is in Leicester city centre, opposite Leicester Cathedral. It has been created around the location where King Richard III's remains were buried for more than 500 years. Using storytelling, design and 21st century technology, visitors can discover the incredible story of the King's life and death, and one of the greatest archaeological detective stories ever told
We enjoyed our visit here very much; the displays give a good context to the Wars of the Roses and the upstairs exhibition, giving details of the archaeological dig and the scientific identification of Richard III's body are particularly fascinating. Being able to see the grave site is a moving experience, especially as you can then go across the road to see Richard III's tomb in the cathedral.

Plenty of fascinating and inspiring exhibits, and where else are you going to come face-to-face with a pair of genuine 90-foot tall rockets? For us the highlight was the Rocket Tower and the wealth of information, displays and artifacts charting the history of space exploration. And of course riding the Tower’s lift up and down beside the mighty Blue Streak and Thor Able rockets! There’s a lot to see and do for all ages, so expect to spend a few hours at the Space Centre. Good to know: Be sure to visit Abbey Pumping Station next to the Space Centre. It’s another excellent museum, so add another couple of hours to your itinerary and make a day of it by visiting both venues. Twinlakes Theme Park has endless adventures of family fun packed with variety, adventure and fun for every member of your family. Twinlakes is The East Midland's No.1 all action, family tourist attraction, providing great days out, huge indoor play barns, outdoor adventures and a splashtastic Water Park!!
Twinlakes is a brilliant place for a family day out. I visited with 3 children aged 13, 11 and nearly 6 and each found something that they loved! The eldest enjoyed the rides, especially Excalibur, as she likes a bit of adrenaline. The youngest loved the indoor play areas, which are perfect for escaping from both rain and the midday heat. Middlest loves animals so she really enjoys the farm part. On this occasion we didn’t get to handle anything but at Easter they all held baby rabbits. I just love seeing them all happy - a great day out!
