One of the sites in Utah for cave exploring.
Even though the path is paved, the hike up to the cave is challenging. Excited by opportunity to tour the three caves. Unfortunately, our tour guide was short on facts, history and anecdotes even though she said she had been giving cave tours since a teenager. Her knowledge of geology was very generalized. It was a bit of a disappointment to hike all that way only to have a mediocre tour guide. Hopefully, those of you who are reading this review will have better luck. Overall, Timpanogos Cave is worth the visit.

Thanksgiving Point offers an array of different activities including 55-acre gardens, Museum of Ancient Life, Mammoth Screen 3D theater, Water Tower Plaza, Harvest Restaurant, the Emporium, Farm Country and a 18-hole golf course.
We got the explorer pass which allows you to visit The museum of natural history, farm country, the museum of natural curiosity, and the gardens. In one day's time, we were only able to get to three of the four. We left for dinner and then went back. We probably could have gotten to everything if we ate on the premises. Our kids' age range from 13 to 4. Everyone had so much fun! Another review said it wasn't worth a drive, but I disagree. We drove down from Idaho and made a weekend out of it! Totally worth it. We all want to go back at some future point.

Yes it is home grown. Yes it is a small theatre in the round. And YES it is better than Broadway! Yup, been to great theaters in NY, Houston, Portland, San Francisco, Austin, Moscow, Dar es Salaam, Salt Lake and Provo so as an ordinary guy I️ feel I know what I’m talking about when I️ say the Orem Hale is truly the best. We saw Hello Dolly. Best stage performance of this classic that we have seen. Amazing skills, voices, and choreography. You want the best in theatre, it’s right here in Orem.

In our attempt to play every golf course in the state of Utah, the Ranches Golf Course was number 97th. We rate it 4 out of 5 base on the following criteria listed in order of importance to us:
⛳️Greens and Bunkers:
You can tell a lot about a golf course base on how they take care of their greens and sand bunkers: greens were in good condition for Late summer. They were firm with medium speed and easy to read. Sand bunkers were in good shape, but many needed to be raked. It appears that the greenskeepers work to maintain the course, however there seems to be a lot of players here that do not repair their ball marks on the greens, rake the sand or fix divots in the fairways.
Course Design:
This is a links style course on rolling hills with little in the way of trees. They have five sets of tees that plays from 7050 to 5287 yards, so it can accommodate a variety of skill levels. It has a nice variety of holes, with some very challenging short par fours. Many of the holes are lined by houses. This is not a walker friendly course; holes are spread out and there are a few steep climbs.
Pace and of Play:
We play in the afternoon on a weekday and the course was almost empty, so pace of play was fantastic. However, the fellow working the cars said that play is usually slow on the weekends.
Clubhouse Staff:
All the Staff here were friendly and helpful and made us feel that our business was valued. They gave us the residence rate of $42 with cart.

However, it is a lovely aquarium given the location. It has...MoreHello, Thank you for your review and feedback. We're glad you and your family enjoyed the Aquarium and the otters and penguins! I wanted to come here because of the head thing where you can only see your head and your body is missing but it was out of service. My kid had fun I like the Waterworks part of it. The fish were cool. We were only here for about an hour and a half we were just killing time we had passes it was okay will have to come back when we have more time and money for my kid to do the Canopy Tours

With a lovely river, rich pines and furrs, oaks and aspens, Timpanogos Cave Nat'l Monument, Tibble Fork Reservoir, Timpooneke Trail, Bear Trail, Pine Hollow Trail, Mary Ellen Gulch, and numerous other 'attractions' for the lover of outdoor beauty, this beautiful canyon has it all. But with the increased traffic flow, and the threat of Snowbird Ski Resort building in Mineral Basin, this beauty is threatened to become a highway that's hard to maneuver. Ride bikes or hike in this canyon, carpool, and do what you can to preserve this oasis before it's gone.

TWO THUMBS UP! This was the best horseback riding experience I've ever had. Dave McConnell was very attentive to the beginners in our group and also provided a little extra fun for those of us who were more experienced. I highly recommend Alpine Trail Rides to tourists visiting Utah or to those who have lived here for years and need a little reminder of the beauty that surrounds us. Thanks again for an amazing adventure, Dave! We'll be back soon!

We did the Ghostbusters experience. I love the idea. I love the cutting edge unique immersive entertainment. The execution, however, shows that there are still bugs that need to be worked out. We were a group of 4 going through the rooms. It was very cramped for 4 people, and 2 of our group were kids. We were bumping into each other. I was always afraid I was going to hit someone or something. They have to fix that. Also, there was significant lag at times between the actions I took and seeing those actions play out in the environment.
Most of all I was frustrated by the lack of instructions or directions. We were put into the room with no explanation of goals or purpose or what we were trying to achieve. It was Ghostbusters so I assumed we were supposed to shoot ghosts but at one point we were supposed to use a trap and had no idea how to do it. Then, at the end they showed us our scores and the scores said exactly what we were “supposed” to do. You are graded on some very specific game play such as how well you “trashed the rooms”. Well, I had no idea I was supposed to be trashing the room. That was not intuitive by any measure. So I ended the experience by being frustrated and felt they should have done some kind of instruction about what the game objectives were and how the gameplay functions.
In spite of the disappointment, I cannot help but appreciate how awesome it was to be able to walk freely through the environment without being tethered to anything. That was very very cool. And some of the effects came of very nicely. I can see that when the bugs get worked out this kind of entertainment will absolutely amazing and will be the new standard.
I am excited for the upcoming Star Wars experience and I will be doing that in February when I go to Disneyland.

I recently had my hair cut by Kate Wessman at La Belle Vie Salon in Pleasant Grove, UT., and it was the BEST salon experience I've ever had. I actually enjoyed the whole process: Kate is a highly trained and wonderfully competent cosmetologist who has just enough savoir-faire to make you look and feel your best; she is genuinely committed to providing you with the best service possible (one that won't disappoint, like so many do in this industry). I would definitely suggest Kate Wessman at La Belle Vie Salon to anyone looking for a stylist, or haircut, in general. She is warm, friendly, and considerably skilled at her craft (she even used a hot towel, oil, and a straight-edge razor to clean up my neck!). I can't recommend her highly enough. Make your next hair appointment with Kate Wessman at La Belle Vie Salon! You'll be pleasantly surprised by what results.
