With 260 acres and over 100 different attractions, this theme park has something for everyone.
Loved all the coaster options. Liked the SuperHero area and the portion themed for kids. Clean throughout. Friendly staff all around. Only downsize was there were NO dessert options, we wanted something sweet n fun....only options were funnel cake really. How bout some of those new extreme ice cream shakes or ice cream cookie sandwichs with all the dazzle. Decent food otherwise. No long waits, but it was early spring. Great time though, keep up the great rides.

Decent hiking and bouldering at this state park, not from from Santa Clarita, CA. Supposedly there's been filming done out here (Star Trek as an example). Pretty easy to get around. Just make sure you have plenty of water, and plenty of gas in your car's tank as there's not much out there.

The Tehachapi loop is an engineering marvel. It is recognized as a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark and a California Historical Landmark. Built in 1874-1876 it solved the problem of getting trains from the central valley up the hill to Tehachapi. To visit the Loop and See / read the historical plaques take the Keene off ramp and follow the Signs. There are up to 400 trains a day using the loop, so you probably won't have to wait long to see the trains in action as the train actually can pass over itself as it makes the loop. For train fanciers it is a must see, for engineers it is a must marvel. and for the rest of us it is a wonderful curiosity to ponder. Remember There is also a train museum in Tehachapi and the Cesar Chavez memorial is also near the Loop turn off at Keene

If you like honey, this is a place to stop. There are lots of honey merchandise and honey tasting. At one table, you can purchase 6 honey sticks for a dollar (various flavors such as cinnamon, apple, chocolate, gallberry etc.) The people are very nice and friendly.

César E. Chávez National Monument is in the very small town of Keene, approximately 30 miles southeast of Bakersfield via Highway 58. The monument is part of a property known as Nuestra Señora Reina de la Paz, the home and workplace of the Chávez family and farmworker-movement organizations. Visitors to the National Monument can walk through the visitor center whose walls are adorned with dozens upon dozens of photographs many which are from labor strikes and other moments in the movement to secure better working conditions for Agricultural workers. You can also see Cesar's office. There is also a Memorial Garden where César Chávez and is wife are buried, and a small Desert Garden is planted adjacent to the Memorial Garden. Other parts of the area are closed to visitation, as it continues to serve as a home and workplace for his Foundation. This newer national park is "a work in progress." More exhibits are under development and the NPS is promising more visitor and educational programs and services in the coming years. President Obama visited the site in 2012 and spoke at a ceremony at the park. Overall, a great national monument that educates and provides a place for reflection.

There are two videos, one is a feature length (in an auditorium with seating sufficient to bring school groups) describing the water collection and distribution throughout CA; the other is a scenic journey along the distribution and storage points. A handful of large exhibit rooms are exceptionally well done with many hands-on educational displays. You could easily spend an hour here. And, ih yeah, it's also a visitor's center with lots of info about things to do in the region.

Ojai Olive Oil is a family owned and operated farm, and the oldest producer of extra virgin olive oil in the region. In addition to award winning olive oils, we also produce an array of wonderful imported balsamic vinegars and food grade olive oil based cosmetics. We are open for Free Tastings and shopping 7 days a week (10am-4pm), and give Free Guided Tours & Tastings on Wednesdays, Saturdays & Sundays from 10am-4pm. On Sundays we are also at the Ojai Farmers Market in the middle of town. Our Tours & Tastings are open to all, do not require a reservation, and are free. We begin outside and discuss the history of our groves and a bit about olive oil in general. We also get into important information about selecting, storing, and cooking with olive oil, show you our mill and how the olive oil is made, and end up in the tasting room to sample all of our products. Our groves are certified organic, and we are one of the valley's only operating permaculture farms. Ojai Olive Oil is proud to be one of the Ojai Valley's most popular destinations, and we look forward to seeing you at our farm :)
The best Olive Oil in CA.
If you are in Ojai Valley, do not miss visiting the Ojai Olive Oil Company. Make sure you get a map or have the correct address in your GPS. The last section of the road is a bit rough and turns into a dirt parking lot. When you get to a fork in the road you need to go left over a small water ways.
You can also attend their 20 min tour and history of the place. Check the times on their web site. They have a small tasting room which you can see, smell and taste variety of Olive Oils and Vinegars.

We expected to make a quick stop here and ended up staying for almost two hours! We were here on the first Saturday of the month, when historical interpreters provided lots of great information and hands on learning. The blacksmith was especially informative. A great learning experience to bring history alive for kids!

We pass by this location several times a year and have always wanted to stop. We finally did and were disappointed. There just wasn't much there that we were interested in and the prices seemed like normal prices. I would expect outlet prices to be cheaper, even significantly cheaper, but that was not the case. Maybe we just didn't need what they had.

Daniela and her horses are an absolute gem. This is the perfect place to trail ride where you're allowed to trot and canter the horse. And it's not far from LA! I had a fantastic time doing the "2 hour ranch trail ride" with a friend, Daniela, and her daughter. Daniela is a fantastic instructor and does everything she can to make your trail ride the best it can be and for a price that can't be beat!
