This beautiful church on the hill of the city dominates from above the overlooking of the city and the sea , was built at the end of 1600 on previous church of the sixth century. Marvelous the stones staircase with the two lions supporting the city’s coat of arm, beautiful facade with double bell tower similar to the church of Trinità de Monti in Rome . Majestic the inside with three naves divides by double columns supporting the beautiful golden arches. There are three chapels for each side, all full of frescoes and marvelous pictures dates between 17th and 19th century

A very nice place close to everything. In front of train station, 100 mt far from the center, immediately outside the touristic port of Lavagna. It's possible to walk for almost 10 km near the sea, visiting some monuments, drinking and eating and relaxing. The most beautiful zone of the city.
