Lapeer is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan and is the county seat of Lapeer County. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 8,841. Most of the city was incorporated from land that was formerly in Lapeer Township, though portions were also annexed from Mayfield Township and Elba Township. The city government is politically independent of all three townships. Lapeer is in southern Michigan, east of Flint, on the Flint River. The name "Lapeer" is a corruption of the French la pierre, which means "the rock", a reference to flint. (See List of Michigan county name etymologies.)

A great state campground with electric service sites and some nice secluded, rustic sites. The bathroom and shower facilities are clean and there are great events for kids and families ever weekend.

An Escape Game is a real-life adventure game designed for small groups of 2-7 people. Your goal is simple: work together as a team, testing your wits and skills, to escape from a locked room in under 60 minutes. While the goal is simple, the game is challenging. Getting through the locked door will require finding clues, solving puzzles, and working together as a team or else you may not escape in time. A Great idea for a family outing, coworker challenge or a unique dating experience.
Our group has been here many times. We have escaped some rooms, while others not so lucky. Our most recent attempt was 'The Dwelling'. This is by far one of their hardest, most well thought out rooms we have been in. I have to give them kudos for their close attention to detail and the unique themes.
There is no repetition here each room stands on its own, with many puzzles to be mastered. They do a great job explaining how the game works, so there is never any doubt. I can't wait to return!

Past Tense has a huge selection of antiques, curios and just plain stuff from all over. They also have a restaurant, a cider mill, vegetable stand, flowers for sale, just about everything. Its a fun place to spend an hour or two.

Norway Spring has a story. While drilling for iron ore, a local mining company perforated an aquifer and created this artesian well (a spring). They built this stone mound around it with a spot to drink like from a fountain and a compartment to fill jugs. The water is clear, cold and delicious. The well is so deep that there is no danger of contamination.
There is a nice highway pull off which is very safe from passing cars. Kids will be fascinated by the water coming from the ground, and you can take five minutes to stretch your legs. There's an interpretive sign and a picnic table.
What's not to like? And just across the highway is an Alpaca Farm.

The gallery is usually divided between the work of local artists of the Lapeer Art Association and an exhibit area with widely varied exhibits arranged by the gallery director. Both sections are changed out every few weeks. There is a lot of beautiful art, and jewelry and other gift shop items, very reasonably priced; but everyone is more than welcome to come in just to browse and enjoy.

Little small town bowling alley with friendly staff that sells food, alcohol, and non-alcoholic beverages. Would recommend to families and friends looking for a fun evening out.

Farm market featuring home grown and locally grown fresh produce. In the fall we offer hay rides, corn maze, u-pick pumpkin patch, and a fall farm experience.
Always a great selection of fresh, in season produce available here. As well as some festive holiday decorations went in season as well. They have a lot of things for fall Halloween, and Christmas as well. But their big thing is the Halloween season with...MoreThank you so much! We're looking forward to next year!

9 holes with a cart $18 each, $2 discount for seniors 55 and over. A very straightforward and forgiving course. Only lost one ball, had a great time a couple of really long Tire fives. And a couple of really short car trees very very good course for beginners or someone who just wants to play a quick round.
