Great local museum showcasing the local history during the cold war from the 1950s. You Will need 2+ hours exploring. Entrance fee 110kr.

The contents of the five gardens and the arboretum are arranged according to the type of illness to be treated. Some plants appear in more than one garden. The descriptions are detailed and are in Danish. There is a guidebook descibing 200 of the plants, together with their history and amusing anecdotes, which can be purchased at the bookshop in Rudkøbing

Great place for healthy affordable lunch in a beatiful setting. Shop in site selling local produce. If you would like to visit the major house there is a 60kr entrance fee. Stunning preserved woodland surround the property

Bagenkop is a gem with its serene landscapes and possibilities for outdoor activities. The wild horses are such a fitting and nicely integrated attraction suitable for families and others with an interest in horses. We will definitely come back to revisit.
