Beautiful cellar located in the hills of La Morra, in the heart of Langhe: five hundred meters above sea level, with the view sweeping over the plains of Cuneo as far as the beautiful landscape of the Alps, from the Maritimes to the Monte Rosa. Famous for the production of BAROLO, but also Barbera and Nebbiolo.
Dosio hits all the right notes, and has something for everybody. The wine tasting was varied and impressive - there are many more reds than whites, and one of our party truly favored their rose as well! I couldn't leave without ordering a few cases of their recommended reserve back home! If natural scenery is what you're after, the 12 continuous acres are set on a gently sloped hill, where you can see row after row of the grape vines. We were fortunate enough to stay from morning through the afternoon, and saw the changes in scenery from mysterious and foggy in the morning, to hopeful as the clouds cleared up, to completely majestic as the sun broke through and cleared the clouds. It is amazing to see the snow-capped Alps in the distance. The hosts answered all questions and shared about the vineyard, and the owners were very gracious. A must-see destination if your itinerary takes you anywhere near the Piedmont area!

All of the prior reviews here are spot on. Nice wines and, more importantly, an incredible and indelible sense of welcome and conviviality from Carla, who kindly hosted our tasting and treated us like family. The highlight of our trip, and probably the most enjoyable tasting I have ever had, in Italy or elsewhere.

In the heart of the Langa of Barolo, in Annunziata of La Morra, the Azienda Agricola Marrone produces fine wines with intense fragrances and elegant flavours. You are always welcome to come and visit our wine cellar and our beautiful tasting room; we can also take care of your days in our region thanks to Italian Delights, our incoming tour operator. A good chance to experience wines, food and to discover a wonderful land.
Absolutely stunning winery with friendly, informative guides and, most importantly, delicious wine! The four course wine pairing lunch was amazing and the winery was one of the most memorable parts of my entire trip to Italy.

Since 1841. Costamagna generations dedicated to Barolo production. The long story began in the XIX century with Francesco Costamagna, carried on in the 1960s by Claudia Ferraresi and Giorgio Locatelli, and for at least 30 years by their son Alessandro Locatelli.

We had a fantastic experience visiting Cantina Ratti. Our host Julia gave us the best explanation about Barolo wines that we had in our trip in Piemonte. Her knowledge and passion are remarkable. The wines are wonderful. Tradition and quality. Strongly recommended.

This brightly painted chapel is a lovely place to reflect on the countryside below. It was created to be a respite, a purpose the artists maintained.
