Visited with three adults and two 5-year-old girls, we were mainly at kids area and tidal wave in the morning, after lunch we went for Lazy River and Sand play near the Tidal wave. Do remember to bring coins for locker, also lots of sun screen, cap and shades and waterproof cover for your phone if you want to take photo of your kids. If possible, wear long sleeve swim wear as the sun was really strong. We stayed until 6pm. It was a really fun day for all of us.

The farm was rather small and a bit of a drive from desaru beach, but we still had a good time nevertheless. Once we entered, we were given a short tour and some nuggets of info abt ostriches and how to approach them. After which we had time to roam arnd the farm, feed the ostriches, and take pics. My toddler was particularly engaged throughout. We were also given a demo of how to crack an ostrich egg. There’s a restaurant outside serving a variety if ostrich dishes. Overall a good visit especially for kids.

As at end of June 2020, the public beach remains closed (since the beginning of MCO in March). Only hotel guests have access to their respective hotel beaches.

It’s quite a secluded place. But it’s where nature is. There is a 2km gravel unlighted road into the farm with fairly good number of potholes; be prepared. The restaurant serves a fairly good spread of Chinese food at a reasonable price. Timing is just right as we had our dinner there at 6.30pm (arrived earlier, can order food then walk around the small farm) followed by the boat ride at 7.30pm. For the price of RM18/adult and RM12/kid, I think it’s a very worthwhile experience to cruise along the mangrove area and see the ‘Christmas lights’.
