Yunokuni no Mori is a traditional craft village that was built on a large site by moving an old private house with a thatched roof from the Edo period to the Meiji period. We display and sell traditional Japanese crafts such as Wajima Lacquer, Kutani ware, Yamanaka lacquerware, and gold leaf crafts. You can also get hands-on experience with craftsmen. You can also experience tea ceremony, making sweets, and making soba noodles. There are three places to eat. Enjoy the cherry blossom viewing, Tanabata, autumn leaves, snow scene and the four seasons of Japan.

A free to enter aviation museum across the road from Komatsu airport. Has a big military helicopter outside you can get in, a small number of various small planes and a helicopter inside on display in the main hall, and countless small models and toy planes on display upstairs. They also have flight simulator machines. Some exhibits explained the history of flight and about Komatsu airport, however all is in Japanese. No English explanations. Most of the main hall is taken up by a huge play area for children. There is a slightly overpriced gift shop, vending machines, and a small cafe. Excellent for a free attraction. Worth visiting if passing by or interested in planes.
