We did a lot of activities on the Island and this was by far the best. The host and staff are fluent in English and so friendly and hospitable plus very knowledgeable about food, agriculture and what effects the different foods have on the body. We cooked delicious food and the whole operation is very efficient and clean and happy in a beautiful setting on the beach!! They also managed to cater for myself and my husband who are vegetarian. You receive a cooking book with all the popular Thai dishes also to practice at home....
I highly highly recommend this....

We are a British/Dutch family run dive shop offering PADI courses and daily dive/snorkel trips to the nearby Koh Chang National Marine Park and have 18 years professional experience here on beautiful Koh Mak. We also teach the PADI courses in German! 2 fun dives @ the marine park = 2400 bht Tune-up/refresher 2 dives @ the marine park = 2800 bht Discover dive 2 dives @ the marine park = 3500 bht
Prices (2900 baht for 2 dives including equipment, food, transport from resort and marine park fees) is mid range for Thailand, but take into account quality of gear and dive sites they come in very high on the bang-for-the-buck scale.
Very professional operation. You get to go in and try out and inspect all your gear beforehand, equipment fit well and was in very good shape, none of us had any malfunctions of any kind during all my dives.
You get pickup from resort for free. Boat is big and have a toilet plus good space to set up your gear and buddy check. The dive briefings were good and you never feel rushed, in contrast to operations on larger dive industry places like Koh Tao. Lunch (veg. option available), water, fresh fruit was supplied on the boat.
Visibility was really good for local dives in Thailand (have dived here for 12 years. Up to 25 meters on the best dives and around 10 on the "bad" dives. Dive sites are 4/5 overall. Corals in good shape, saw lots of blue spotted rays, total triggerfish, pufferfish, shoals of barracuda etc.

when beach hopping in koh mak, do not miss out on ko kham. while the left over ruins of some over ambitious building project, possibly for a hotel?, are not majorly attractive, the beach is so nice and peaceful, and the sea is beautiful - such nice colors! you can either go by boat but it‘s also close enough to koh mak to rent a kayak and cross over yourself.

BB divers Koh Mak offers daily dive and snorkel trips to the reefs around Koh Mak or to Koh rang national park. We offer all padi courses from beginner to professional.
Having not dived for a couple of years, was feeling a little rusty but had a chat with Pui who instilled a lot of confidence. Tried to book the half day diving/snorkeling trip for 1 scuba & 3 snorkelers they couldn't do the morning trip but offered us an afternoon one instead.. What a blessing in disguise. By this time in the afternoon all the main dive boats had left and we had all the dive sites to ourselves. Saw loads of interesting sea life My dive buddy was instructor Kendal he was amazing what a great asset to BB divers. Even though there was only our group of 4 on the trip Kendal and the crew still provided some snacks, fruit and drinks for us between dives. They also picked us up and returned is to our resort. Would totally recommend BB divers to anyone.

It's easy to find and its unattended with an honesty box! A lovely house to wander round with lots of quirky artefacts of bygone days. It's been laid out authentically as a local house would be with many old photos which I would loved to have seen descriptions under to have a better understanding, never mind a fascinating little diversion.

Officially opened in January 2017, Muay Thai Koh Mak is open for Muay Thai Boxing students for all level on the beautiful island of Koh Mak. Just out of the way enough, but still easily accessible from Bangkok or Chiang Mai, Muay Thai Gym Koh Mak provides the perfect setting for those who want to combine training and island lifestyle. Kids, woman and fighters are welcome to train with us. We offer personal training and group training every day. Our gym also provides weights and cross-fit equipment.
Exellent facility, fresh, clean, and well equipped. there are gloves and hand wrap to use if you do not have your own gear. Trainners speak well in english. Wheather you are a professional fighter or beginner, they can accomodate you on your levels of fitness too. trainings times are great not too early in the morning, give you time to enjoy a walk or brealfast before training in the morning. I also stayed at Goodtime resort, they provided me with excellent training package and accomodation. Save me so much time and money, and great idea to tied in my stay and my training. I can not wait to get back for another visit soon.

There does appear to be some people living on the land in this area but its worth taking a couple minutes to explore this unique sculpture garden. Just be sure to bring bug spray!
