The KM Museum offers a beautiful and historic space to explore local history and its connections to the greater world, with the welcoming insight of friendly expert staff members who share fascinating facts and folklore about the past and its lasting impact on the present. The 2019 books exhibit, on display through May 11, offers a gorgeous and well-curated collection of items that highlight the importance of printed pieces of information, along with physical pieces that enhance the tales within them. Jane was a delight to speak with on our Saturday visit, and I hope to get back to see further exhibits and purchase a few items from the gift shop to learn more and to support the museum.

We had a great hike at Crowders Mountain State Park. Went during a weekday so it was not crowded. There are 2 hikes, a 4 mile and 6 mile and the 6 mile took us approximately 3 hours. Lots of rocks to Climb over so plan ahead on the 6 mile hike. Lovely views from the top!

We were looking for a winery, close to our home and we discovered this newly opened Vineyard and Winery. My wife and I "butt heads" when it involves wine, I like very dry, she prefers sweet reds. This winery satisfied us both the Reserve Cabernet for me and Orange Muscat for my wife. We snacked on a cheese board while we enjoyed our wine, the cheese board is a bargain at $15.00.

Hound's Drive In Theater

Reviewed By Anifer15 - Charlotte, United States

It makes me happy that this place is open and hopefully doing really well. A lot of drive-ins around my area have been forced to close because the equipment to show digital film is so expensive. It houses not one, but two screens with double features! For just $15 per car, you can't beat that! Concessions include: Burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, funnel cakes, pickles, plus your typical movie theater concessions. The popcorn was really good! And the prices are not outstanding like at a normal theater. This makes for a unique experience and a fun time to be outside amongst nature with family and friends. Lawn chairs, blankets and pets (on leash) are welcome, but they do frown on bringing any outside foods/drinks. Why would you? I'd much rather support the little man and keep neat, old timey businesses like this open! I can't wait to go back!
