I have been coming to Jim's wine shop ... this visit had to negotiate around recent deliveries just inside the door. The narrow circuit between the vast stock adds to the ambience ... I start by looking but always revert to asking Jim ... he never puts you wrong and his recommendations are always on point and pricing great. I always leave with more than planned with bottles I keep for sharing with special friends. The experience in the shop leaves you feeling good and in doubt you have something both special and delicious. Jim's extensive knowledge is quite simply amazing. And by the way he has an extensive range of spirits too

It’s a great walk, next to the river, easy path to walk, with wide metal path so you can walk side by side, besides the sculptures there are often lots of birds on the river and at present the daffodils are flowering, we do take the dog some times but needs to stay on the lead.

Tuapiro Point

Reviewed By davidwilliambarnes - Blackpool, United Kingdom

Met up with our son, his wife and our one year granddaughter for a random walk and we couldn’t have discovered a nicer place. It was idyllic as we parked on the green next to some horses who trotted off along the sand. We also had a ridgeback dog with us who loved the open space and water. The houses and boats were upmarket in a beautiful place. Lovely couple of hours walking and talking.
