The Beach is not like what you’d expect .
Yes it has golden sand . Amazing view. Restaurants and everything .
It has no basic services: no umbrellas or sunbeds to rent .
No fresh water shower facilities.
When the tide is low you can only see the ocean half a kilometre away and not enjoy it .
The sandy beach is covered with seaweed and algae.
Every other local wants to sell you something .
All in all you can have a wonderful
Time at the beach . Get a fantastic tan very fast .
I reckon it is a nice place to
Get a tan.

Uhuru Kite Zanzibar located in Jambiani, a small village just 10 minute taxi south from Paje, boasts the same magical conditions but with none of the people, There are many lagoons, small and big in Jambiani all perfect for kitesurfing. The village is a lot quieter and less touristy than Paje as its a fishing village. As a result there are maximum 20 kites and in most lagoons none at all...
The place to be for proper kite surf lessons! Where you see busy, overcrowded area's in Paje, Jambiani on the other hand is the place to be to properly enjoy your 1st kite sessions. Professional equipment, great staff and perfect conditions make this kite surf school the place to rock!!

We made the open water diver course. We felt highly comfortable with the whole nakupenda-crew! Walter and Antonella are very friendly and make everything to fullfill your needs. We highly recommend Nakupenda - they are cheap and have a lot of experience! Molte Grazie!

Zanzibar-ProKite is a kite center located in Jambiani, small village South east coast of zanzibar with one of the most beautiful lagoon in the world.
This place is a real insider and I enjoyed that it was not crowded as the prominent kite spots in Paje.
I also enjoyed the flexibility, transparency and professionality of both owners and kite instructors. They were really focussing on my progress and providing lessons associated with fun and success.
Thanks again!!

Enjoy a unique holiday with the only dedicated bicycle tour operator in Zanzibar. Explore corners of the island that would otherwise remain hidden thanks to the vast knowledge of professional cyclist and chief guide Juma and his team. Combine exploring Zanzibar's unique Spices, Dolphins, Stone Town and snorkelling with an off-the-beaten-track adventure that nobody else can provide.
Had a great day trip with Suleiman from Stone Town. Started by getting a Dala Dala to the Spice Farm (bikes on top) then a really informative (& tasty) tour with a fabulous guide. Even though I was looking forward to this, it was even more...MoreSo happy to hear you enjoyed it and that you liked Suleiman as much as we do! We have also multi days tours for 4-7 nights where we share our favorite places and mest soulful hotels. Welcome back ! Helen & Suleiman

Real Experiences- Genuine People Everything we do, we do together with the community. Many of our tours has been developed by the locals- that’s why you find them nowhere else. The Zanzibaris do the tours, cook the food, drive the cars, take you in their boats etc.. We see this is the best way to transfer knowledge to the island. We are very proud it is working out so well. And that our guests contribute to Zanzibar's development, get real experiences and meet genuine people. We share our secrets We set a pride in sharing our personal, sometimes secret, favorites – Beaches, food, villages, restaurants, roof tops, shops etc. to make your trip different. With us, you get access to parts of the island that are unknown to the big travel agencies and booking engines. At the same cost as if you would book yourself.
Just finished a half day Spice Tour booked through Helen at Love Zanzibar. Driver met us at Zanzibar Coffee House and drove us out to Botanical Garden/Spice farm , which is essentially a collection of all popular spice plants in Zanzibar (i.e. this is a Demonstration Garden). Haji showed us all around during a touch/feel/smell/taste tour. It ended with a homemade lunch of fish, rich, coconut sauce, bread, and red sauce which was just perfect! The whole tour could not have been better. If you like cooking or spices/extracts -- do this tour you will not regret it!

Kuza Cave offers a unique experience for adventurous nature-lovers. At the base of the cave there is a crystal clear pool formed by a subterranean river. The water is cold but refreshing! The area is a wildlife sanctuary for dozens of Monkeys, birds, butterflies and bushbabies. Don't miss out on discovering this gem tucked away in the tropical jungle of Jambiani - you will be surprised!
The cave is amazing but only for hikers. The place is an excellent host. There are singers, musicians and dancers who make a wonderful atmosphere. We really enjoyed moving there for 4 hours. Reach without time pressure and enjoy the atmosphere. The proceeds from the place go to build a school.

The Kite center is nestled between the Red Monkey Lodge and the Coral Rock Hotel, on a fantastic white sand beach with crystal clear waters. To access to it you pass in the middle of the Jambiani village, crossing fishermen, ladies drying seaweeds and kids playing on the beach with homemade kites. they are all so friendly and kind and this makes you in the right mood to appreciate even more the kite experience.
As the most of the Island also this area is subject to and alternation of high and low tide and with it the wind that increase when the tide comes in, so you need to consider this if you come to Zanzibar. The location is something special, with the great variety of shades the water shows it's really a dreamy spot!!
The team in place is extremely professional: Julia, Justus and Guillaume and the two local instructors have a friendly and warm approach, very patient and at all the time very attentive. You will feel very safe int he water with them!! Once back they take the time to give you feedback and suggestions with some joke to keep you confident on the next ride.
And to finish your day, you can enjoy the colors of the sunset chilling with a drink at Red Monkey (on Monday they have an Exciting Jam Session!!) or keep on going until late night at Coral (Sexy Saturdays - with live Dj from all over the world!).
A great experience in a great spot with a professional team. Should you ask for more?

Alawi and his team are great teachers. Their pleasant and serene way of teaching is unique!
In combination with the beautiful spot it is perfect for beginners (no comparison to the crowded spots in Europe) and people who want to improve their kite-skills.
The prices are really fair!
We had a great time there an will definitely come back!
