The museum is located in the center of Izhevsk, the capital of the Udmurt Republic, in the Arsenal building of the Izhevsk Arms Factory (this building is the monument of industrial architecture of the 19th century). The museum exposition gives a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the nature, history and culture of the whole region, which is the historical ancestral home of the Finno-Ugric peoples. The museum has unique collections of historical, archaeological and ethnographic monuments, a collection of weapons and firearms, and collections of photographs. Izhevsk is the birthplace of IZH motorcycles (the museum exposition presents serial models of IZH motorcycles from the 1930s to the 2000s). The museum also has a souvenir shop, where you can buy souvenirs in ethnic style.

Drove through Izhevsk and of course had to visit. Definitely need to visit here as Kalashnikov is an icon of this country. You need a passport and drivers license to shoot.
