Tower Crafts is one of our favourite local shops. The owner is very friendly and has built-up a great shop with a wide selection of Welsh gifts of all sorts! My wife bought some really cute baby gifts and souvenirs for friends in the States. It is also a great place to pop in and find out what is going on in Holywell.

A really good antique shop. The owner is very friendly and made you feel welcome.I asked if he had any items that were not on show that I could be intrested in and he did not hesitate to locate some quite interesting items. Beautiful shrine and adjacent holy well of St Winifrede, that continues to be blessed with an air of sanctity and holiness. The main buildings are medieval and the well water has healing properties. There is a shop and refreshment room nearby with a car park across the road. Pilgrims can take away as much well water as required, providing they bring their own container(s). This is the only holy well in the country with and unbroken tradition of pilgrimage since the fifth century. I can thoroughly recommend a visit.

A family-owned pub in the heart of the market town of Holywell, serving cask ales, draught premium lagers, over 80 different gins, over 20 malt whiskeys, various rums and vodkas. Our new wine list features some of the best organic wines from around the world. We play live music every weekend and show all of the sporting fixtures with our Sky and BT satellites. We also have a fabulous newly refurbished enclosed beer garden. The coffee is good too!
Guinness doesn't travel they say, well it does to this boozer so shame on all the others who manage to ruin it. Best pint about. Fact. Its a top pub for Sport with Tele's everywhere, full of interesting wall memorabilia and a duke box with about a million songs to choose from. Outdoor area for the smokers and sun seekers which is really tidy which has the same TV facility and music as inside. A well kept pub which seems to keep the local hoodlums out, maybe its the pricing policy as it's dearer than the Spoons a few yards away. Put the prices up if that's the case its worth every penny.
