Electric Bicycle rentals and RAD Power bike test rides. Get outside and get moving, riding an electric bicycle is exhilarating! Rent for 2 or 4 hours and go farther and faster than you thought possible. E-bikes remove many of the physical limitations of regular cycling so you can enjoy and explore a local state park or bicycle trail, and they are environment friendly.

This is usually my go-to for summer swimming. If you're a Michigan resident, it pays well to get the park pass with your license plate. This way you are able to enter any national parks "free of charge" for each visit. Although, a few visits, you get your monies worth. This park contains a beach and a very clean lake. On the lake, it has a WhoaZone for children to jump on and run through obstacles. It's quite expensive, probably something to try once just to get the experience. It's best to go during summer months like June, July and early August as that's when the water is mostly warm. This park also features hiking trails, which I've had the chance to walking once. I found some bamboo growing around the trail, which I found very interesting as you don't normally see bamboo growing at all. This could be your next favorite spot!

Hiking trails are excellent with much diversity. Normally I carry several very good hand saws. If there is a branch or tree fallen across a trail, I remove it, sometimes by cutting a section out of a fallen tree. This can require several visits, as some of the downfallen trees are quite large. Normally do this on week days when fewer are on the trails. Most enjoyable activity, and compliments from the hikers seen.

WhoaZone is an on-water obstacle course featuring giant slides, towers, trampolines, ramps, wiggle bridges and other play features, offering guests the chance to bounce, slide, climb, jump, and splash.
We took six children to Holly State Park for the WhoaZone. The children were ages seven to fourteen. If you buy tickets online it is slightly cheaper than buying them at the park. With six children, online was a wise decision. I wondered if we would need reservations, but on this gorgeous Wednesday in July, the WhoaZone did not look to be at capacity. I had never been to Heron beach in Holly State Park before, and I was glad to see how clean the lake was. There were many fish in the lake that the children enjoyed trying to catch. The beach was nice and sandy, the water was clear. The bathrooms were in need of some cleaning after a day of beach goers in them. They probably should be inspected every hour because by the end of the day, you did not want to use them. The children enjoyed the WhoaZone so much that four of them wanted to go again. It is a bit cheaper to go a second time so we let them go. Two of the children thought that it was too difficult for them. They were ages nine and seven. Other children we had that were eight and seven went for another turn. I guess it just depends on the child and what they like to do. There were several life guards posted on the WhoaZone structure. All of our children were good swimmers so we did not have a worry in that regard. This was a fantastic day with the children and we hope to do it again.

love this ski resort, it has 5 different hills, little bunny hill for the beginners and a slightly more sloped hill for intermediate skier. Of course there are a few hills for high level skier. Love going there for a weekend trip, the onsite restaurant food is delicious and drinks are ice cold. It is just a great place to hangout and chill after a full day of sking.
