A unique retail space and online store boasting a hand picked selection of local and independent designers and featuring a contemporary array of women's clothing, jewellery, footwear, handbags & accessories.
Finally visited Portal 108 in the flesh. Modern, on trend clothing, shoes, accessories and homewares. The owners, Connie & Kyla and their adorable pooches were so welcoming and such fun. We visited this store twice on our visit to the region and they showed us their new location fit-out which they will soon be moving into (next door). Worth the wait to visit their store and definitely worth putting on your to do list while in Daylesford and Hepburn. Their website is awesome too.

Mineral Spa is an idyllic rural restorative haven; one of the largest and most acclaimed rural day spas in Australia. Mineral Spa has been specifically designed as a sanctuary of healing and relaxation; connecting body and spirit to the earth's natural elements and offering powerful healing and beauty treatments to re-invigorate and restore. Therapists, each with their own area of expertise and selected for their healing hands and calming spirits, ensure that every guest experiences a beautiful and personal spa experience; with individual consultations and exclusive specialist treatments. The spa’s key feature of healing through water is The Retreat; a mineral water therapy zone following in the healing traditions of the famous mineral spas throughout Europe. Tucked in a private and peaceful indoor/outdoor corner of the spa, The Retreat comprises two 100% mineral water spas, a cold plunge pool, steam room, infra-red detox box and the only lavender-infused basalt stone sauna in the Southern Hemisphere.
I wanted to try something different so decided on the body treatment mineral cocoon - refining. Have to say it was one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve had in a long time - the feeling of being wrapped post application of the clay and gently floating in the warm water bath was divine and my thoughts just melted away. Would highly recommend this experience!

Attwoods Wines cellar door now open. Offering lunch, charcuterie and cheese platters and tastings, as well as a monthly two course set menu 'The Vignerons Lunch'. The cellar door is open every weekend and on public holidays.
We are huge lovers of great wine and food, and what a discovery this place was. As you drive up the entrance, through a impressive front gate you wonder what awaits. The views from the ridge and the car park are spectacular. A inviting landscape awaits. As you head down the steps to the cellar door and step through into a rustic setting, with a alfresco and outdoor seating areas. The ‘pit’ below under the old oaks trees was the destination to be. We ventured into the cellar door, where you could be transported into France. A beautiful room. The wine and food were sensational. We got to meet the wine maker, Troy who explain his wine making philosophy as we tasted some of the best wines I have had in a long time. Where has Attwoods wines been hiding? The food was a set menu, but boy did it deliver! I suggest that you visit Attwoods at Glenlyon so you too can enjoy a day out as much as we did.

I am very fond of country golf courses - new challenges, usually with fantastic vistas and gorgeous bush settings. And the wildlife that goes with that. Hepburn is a ripper - very quiet mid week so an honour box for green fees then just me and a big mob of kangaroos, skilled at ignoring tourist golfers and hopping away only when really needed. The course is really quite hilly and cleverly makes use of its setting - so lots of challenges from elevated tees down to gorgeous and well maintained and undulating greens. Great golfing excursion from Melbourne - I’d be back happily any time but next time might plan a soak at the Hepburn Springs Bathhouse after!

This iconic General Store is located in the townshhip of Hepburn Springs offering a wide variety of grocery items, hot and cold take-away foods and drinks.
We have stopped through here recently on a couple of different occasions; every time the coffee has been perfect. We have also picked up some of the muffins and slices that they sell which are rich and delectable. Part of the store houses general local produce and beautiful home wares and gifts.

My partner and I when on a 2 hours horse ride today, it was absolutely amazing, the ride was beautiful the horses were amazing! Kieran and his staff were incredible and made everyone feel welcome and safe. The whole experience was wonderful! The horses were calm and showed no fear with all around, there was no need to deal nervous. From the moment you got on the horse you fault nothing but comfort and excitement. I will be returning soon! :)
