Ozark Country Market has some of the most beautiful plants and at a good price. Inside the store is a place you can spend a lot of time looking, sampling and some tasting. If it is spices, jams, jelly, candy or unusual things, this is the place to go.

Greers Ferry Lake is ranked among one of the cleanest, clearest, lakes in the nation. We invite you to come visit us and enjoy the beauty, wildlife, trails, and nature. All in one unique place. Kayak, hike, fish, scuba, birdwatch, camp, great music, local food, and friendly people around every corner. See you soon!
We camped here with the granddaughters for a week. The camp site had water and electric no sewer was very nice, clean, and quiet. The shower house was cleaned daily. There are lots of different type of camping sites from walk in tent sites to the ones like we had. swimming beaches and day use picnic areas. Over all we had a good time and would camp here again.

The climb up is the highlight of our trip. Take your camera, water, insect repellant and good walking/climbing shoes. The boat ride from Fairfield Bay Marina is only $7 and totally worth it. Just do this.

Ive been coming to Heber for over 25 years now and if you like fresh water lakes, this is one of the best around. The Corps have kept it so there is little to no actually building below the "white line" which makes for a more natural look on the lake. I hear there is pretty good fishing although I never have fished. Big lake and if you have the boat to water ski this is the place to do it. Tubing or just going out to a spot and killing the engine to drift and swim like we do... There are a number of beaches to stop at and they are all about the same. Great areas for little kids to swim and play. IF you run low on beer, ice cream or eats, just hit the marina or Janseens restaurant. Great Arkansas Lake.

For starters, we decided on a last second fishing trip the day after Thanksgiving and after reading the reviews, called The Bud Lady. Terri was up for it even though it was after the season and a day after the holiday. I cannot express how impressed I was.
From the minute we got on the water you could tell everyone in the other boats just follows her lead. The fishing was slow, but rather than call it a day early she kept us out well past our 4 hours until we got into a couple good runs and shouted several "woo hoo's"!
The boat was an almost new center console with plenty of space for our group of 5, the rod/reel combos were silky smooth. Terri and Darren kept us laughing and jigging even though we were all ice cubes until the sun finally showed.
I highly recommend The Bud Lady!

Beautiful spot and easy walk. The day we were there there were 2 copperhead snakes, so watch your step. But friends with us said that was first time they had seen snakes there in the 6 yrs they have been going. Really recommend this spot on a hot day

Arkansas' premiere year round Fly Fishing Orvis Endorsed Guide Service on the Little Red, White, and Norfork Rivers, area lakes and streams.
If you want to catch lots of rainbow and brown trout the place to go is the Little Red River near Heber Springs, AR. And the guide service to use is Rouse Fly Fishing. Multiple winners of the Orvis Guide of the year and Guide Service of the year, Rouse Fly Fishing is the best guide service I have used in over 30 years of fly fishing with dozens of guides across the country, Canada and Alaska. The guide boats are modern and in excellent shape. The equipment is the best. All the rods were Orvis rods which included their Helios2. If you want to use the best rods made (and most expensive) then you get to use them with Rouse Fly Fishing. We used four boats with four guides. Each guide was excellent with the 7 fisherman thinking they had the best one. Tony, Cameron, Jordan and Chris work very hard, are very knowledgeable and race to provide great customer service when you need help with a fish, a tangle, or need casting instructions. All of the guides are extremely personable. I have also fished with Jamie in the past and he is the best there is. Jamie's wife, Kati, is the business end of Rouse Fly Fishing and can work with you to arrange a great trip. Use Rouse Fly Fishing. You will not be disappointed.

We enjoyed our second trip out with Beau for another 1/2 day of fishing. Beau is a friendly guide who knows the river and is willing to stay on it until we could find them. He has cancelled trips before because the conditions were not...MoreThank you guys for taking the time to leave a review. I do my best to make sure everybody has fun and gets what they want out of the trip and I appreciate you recognizing that. We would love to have you back anytime!

Where else can you stop by the corner art market and visit with/&/or watch an artist at work.
Ellen's own art is a mesmerizing, playful, alluring, pattern of life's reflections from her own child-like eye.
Her gift is a rain-man kinda thing.
It's so unique.. so warm and cozy.
Well,,, that's just her art.
When you meet her, you'll fall in love!
Promise!!
My 'Hobgood' is hung with prominence in my home.
It speaks volumes to my friends about me and what
I stand for.. she captured.
Other artists' expressions in her place as well.
You'll enjoy the visit; BUT SOMETHING--support local
artisans.
