A wonderful story... It was the year 1888 in Hautvillers, in the same village where Dom Perignon discovered champagne, that the family business was born. Edmond Alexandre and Laure Vautrin-Gillet pressed grapes and sold still wine to large champagne houses. From one generation to the next, the House refine their ancestral expertise to obtain wines with characters and flavours that results in a unique champagne. Today, Matthias and Thomas Kim EunDesruets are the sixth generation maintaining the tradition. Born in Seoul and adopted by François Desruets, they received their apprenticeship in the art of vine and wine in the LycéeViticole de la Champagne, and in the family cellar. An incomparable style... To maintain their identity and traditions, Matthias Eun and Thomas Kim always press their grapes the traditional way with the wooden oak press "Darcq-Flamain" used by their ancestors since 1888. Each cuvée carries with them over 125 years of history and passion of the House. With a capacity of 4000 kg, the oak wine press carefully crushes the grapes over a long process that give all the subtlety and rarity to the champagnes Joseph Desruets.
This family run 7th generation champagne house gives you an authentic taste of how a boutique champagne house runs. We tasted 3 different champagnes and had a tour of the whole production process. They also have the oldest oak grape press in the champagne region. We’d highly recommend!

Each trip I make to this region includes a stop at Dagonet & Fils. This is an owner/winemaker operated tasting room with a gorgeous view and lovely wines. I look forward to each visit. Thank you!

We are located in Hautvillers, the cradle of Champagne. Jean-Philippe Bosser is the 4th generation of a family of winegrowers. He succeeded his grandfather and his father and has run the family estate around the village of Hautvillers since the 1970s, on a terroir classified as Premier Cru. Since then, he has cultivated with passion and know-how the three traditional grape varieties of Champagne (Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay) to offer elegant and very fine vintages that will seduce the most demanding champagne lovers. Today, Christelle, 5th generation, perpetuates a family tradition of more than a century and will welcome you to discover her champagnes and share her passion.

Come and experience the Champagne encounter! Situated ideally in between Reims and Epernay, our villages, which are among the most prestigious of Champagne, play with the landforms of the Montagne de Reims, where the vineyards are spread out and the forests are dense. Ranked World Herritage Site by UNESCO, this area is a hotbed for winetasting and wine tourism and ideal to discover champagne and its history. It will seduce you with its typical champenois villages, its privileged location at the heart of the vineyards, the quality of its welcome, its remarkable landscapes and its numerous wine producers with their vaulted cellars. Enjoy a mindful moment to the rhythm of nature, by walking or cycling tracks which cross the vineyards, the forest or the banks of the canal. See you at the heart of Champagne !

We discovered this champagne house 22 years ago through friends and are coming at least once a year from belgium to buy our stock of champagne :):) Delicious champagne we have bought special cuvée this year called "5" (only 4000 bottles made so our bottles are numbered) and the champagne is simply DIVINE; this house can easily compete with the biggest champagne houses in Epernay. A must do is also the open door weekend normally in june, where the house offers a wonderful tour as well as a champêtre lunch at a very small price. To be highly recommended

I love to support women in wine, and this house deserves the review. Lovely wines we loved both the rosé and the millesime 2012. When we arrived we were the only two but the garden quickly filled up. Even being busy Elodie still made time to give us written recommendations for the rest of our road trip to Burgundy. Thank you for gorgeous wines!
