The beach with magnetic sand is ca 1h drive from Batumi, the road to Ureki is new and really good. It's worth visiting - nice variety to the Batumi beaches which are full of stones. If you believe really hard, I think the magnetic sand will cure your muscles and joints. :-) The place is a little dirty, no garbage pins anywhere. Small village and there are some caffes/restaurants near the beach. Probably in the high season there will be more of these (I was there in the beginning of June).

I am a hostess and co-founder of project "Tea Road" in Georgia. Our story starts in Guria, the smallest but very distinct and devierse region of Georgia, with subtropical microclimates and greenness that resembles landscapes in India and Sri Lanka. Not long ago, during the Soviet Union, Guria was covered in tea plantations, although soon after the breakdown of the Soviet Union the market collapsed. Now after 20 years me and my family would love to share our story through the genuine experiences.
