One of the Virgin Hot Air Balloon launch sites in Lincolnshire is located at Stoke Rochford Hall. With such gloriously rich landscapes and heritage to look down upon from the comfort of the basket, or to explore on the ground, this area really does demand that you stay a day or two, at least.

Few wedding venues in the world can match the breath-taking approach to Harlaxton – a straight, mile-long drive across an ornate lakeside bridge, under a gatehouse to the towering, fairytale façade that is Harlaxton Manor. It floats like a vision at the end of its avenue, set amongst 300 acres of formal gardens and mature woodland. This iconic Manor House offers unparalleled views over the Vale of Belvoir in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Charmingly English, the Manor is the perfect venue for a truly romantic wedding. We can cater for a wide range of weddings – from an intimate civil ceremony and reception for 30 guests to a large evening celebration for 350 in our magnificent State Rooms. We offer the very highest levels of professional service and, because we only operate on an exclusive-use basis, you will feel very much at home in these beautiful surroundings. Harlaxton Manor is owned and operated by Harlaxton College.

We went to PFI for the Super 1 series Karting Championships on 20/09/18. The weather was fantastic as was the racing. This track (compared to a few others such as GYG) is very well appointed with a small cafe, bar, Grandstand, Indoor viewing area and a really good track. Since this was a Kart meet rather than a business 'have a go' type thing I can't comment on that, however, because the track looks really good and the facilities excellent I would not hesitate in recommending this.

A beautiful garden that has been revived since 2001. The large stately home was demolished in 1951 and the site abandoned. Now visitors can see the grounds that President Franklin Roosevelt described as 'a dream of Nirvana, almost too good to be true.' Work is still ongoing and the restoration and features of this 400 year garden makes a fascinating trip. We have a good tearoom and are very easy to find off the A1.
A lovely garden which drops down to the river witham. It is Sweet Pea Week for 3 weeks & they are stunning & smell fab.The cafe was open selling hot & cold drinks & yummy cake as take away.A lovely place to while away a couple of hours

A popular venue for go-karting, quad biking, paintball and 10 pin bowling
My son had a birthday party at Ancaster karting last year and as of lockdown we haven’t been able to go back however the times we were there were amazing. The staff were so helpful as I am a worrier and was cautious about my son and his friends, however, the staff were so reassuring and guided me to peace of mind. The children had a safety video before the session and this also showed the dangers and the sense of accomplishment that they can have of doing it successfully. When my child and his friends got on the track the instructor told them what to do and they were off. They had the best time of their life and we will 110% be going back shortly when every thing opens back up again.

12th Feb - 11.40 Basement Tour. Our first timers in the world of National Trust- we will 100% be back- great guide, hugely impressive under workings of this stately home, cafe was excellent as was our intro from the car park at the ticket office- just into what I’d call middle-aged and can see this being a life-long life-choice. Keep up the amazing work and THANKS.
