You will cross ravishing landscapes - vineyards, olive groves, orchards, lavender fields and the scrubland in the limestone hills with its enchanting scents - on the way to our estate nestling at the foot of the famous ochre cliffs of Roussillon. Our vines bloom in the protected and sunny wild nature of the Luberon Regional Nature Park. The mild mediterranean climate, combined with the fresh temperatures on the slopes of the Ventoux and the Luberon, provide exceptional terroirs for full bodied red wines as well as fruity and fresh rosé and whites. We welcome our visitors in the Chasson’s tasting cellar throughout the year. There you will enjoy the variety of our wines. You can also purchase a selection of outstanding and genuine regional products : olive oil, olive tapenades etc.

Founded in the 12th century, Notre-Dame-de-Sénanque is a unique example of a Cistercian abbey and still an active monastery.
A beautiful place of full of atmosphere and tranquility. Better than the more publicised Musee de lavande. Here you get to experience the true lives led by the monks, and how they farm the surrounding expanse of lavender fields.

It's like walking trough a red sand canyon, very pleasant and great with kids. It's best to ware closed shoes as the red sand sticks on your feet & shoes.

This site is the hard work of many years to rebuild the stone structures of the village. All the work is done without mortar and the rock is of the area. A glimpse into a past way of life.

Gordes is officially registered among the loveliest villages in France and this is fully deserved. The village is located upside a stiff rock dominating the valley. It’s worthwhile to get lost in the narrow streets and to enjoy the nice view all over the surroundings. Conversely it’s a good idea to stop at the view point one mile before the arrival to get a stunning view on the whole village. Of course Gordes is crowded in summer and you may have to park at a distance (no free parking slots).

Tuesday is market day, and Gordes becomes full of tourists. Arrive early, ideally before 10am, as the parking becomes full. We have occasionally been unable to park and had to drive on! However, it is well worth visiting as this is one of the most enjoyable markets around. The setting is just incredible, the vendors mostly speak English as there are many Americans and British visitors. Helpful hint- if you just want to enjoy the town, don't come on a Tuesday morning!
