Customers are kindly requested to book us at least a day before so that we can give them all our attention. If however, they are short on time, they can still contact us and we will do our best to accommodate them the best way we can. All wine tasting sessions are conducted in the afternoon. During winter and mid season tours are conducted at 4.15Pm and when the hot season starts vineyard tours are done at a later time. It is our policy that when the weather permits all wine tasting sessions are conducted at the vineyards at Gharb. Further details will be provided once booking is confirmed.
Wine tasting at Tal Massar was a fantastic experience: Anthony is passionate and knowledgeable, with a strong leaning towards the science of wine production. I gained great information on why it is important to slightly stress vines by avoiding over-irrigating (too many low quality grapes would be produced) and the science behind which variety will grow in which climate and soil. Anthony told us he set up the winery and vineyard about 12 years ago and it is astonishing to taste such fantastic, complex, wines from such a young venture. Having now tasted several (many... ) wines from around Gozo I can safely say that Tal Massar's products stand out a long way above the rest. The red Garb especially so. Anthony also produced a tawny Porto that he has made which, in my humble opinion, ranks amongst the top two that I have ever tried. Possibly, it tips the post into first place. The venue is very well organised with a tasting room, nibbles (the homemade sun-dried tomato and basil spread on local bread is heavenly) and facilities available. Recommended to everyone who visits Gozo.

Extraordinary Ta Pinu Basilica, described as the most beautiful church in Malta, is a shrine and a pilgrimage destination. The beautiful interior and amazing mosaics in front of the church are worth seeing. The story of Carmela Grima and later history of the site are compelling. Take the walk up the hill across from the church to see the marble Stations of the Cross and the amazing view in all directions from the top of the hill.

Our tuk tuk tour driver brought us here and we were blown away by the beautiful scenery and peaceful environment! It was so serene and unlike anything we had ever seen. Absolutely breath-taking! Check it out now before tourists begin overtaking it. There are nice flat rocks that you can sit on and enjoy a nice picnic while enjoying the stunning views.

We randomly arrived st this Crafts Village. Free car parking just off the street. Lots of different buildings, some still in construction, which house different crafts. We loved the Gozo Glass Shop and Sheet Metak Shop. Bought items from both and were well wrapped up for travel back to the UK. Al, the gifts were hand made and locally made. Gift Shop was good as well. Bought teddy’s for the grandchildren there. Great cafe. Food was so fresh and good value. Really friendly staff. Please don’t miss this place if driving by.

Take time to stop your car and visit this exquisite church... both inside and out ... and walk the surrounding streets and alleys. We discovered the Ta' Dirjanu Supermarket and bought a number of local items such as wine, cheese and sundried Maltese tomatoes.

Gozo Glass is a glass blowing studio on the Island of Gozo dedicated to the creation of original and unique Handmade Art Glass inspired from the natural beauty of the Maltese islands. Gozo Glass is a family run business established in 1990. Entrance to glass-blowing studio is free of charge.
My husband and I visited the Gozo Glass workshop having already decided we wanted to bring back a Maltese glass ornament from our holiday. I loved watching the glassblowers at work, and the stock in the adjoining shop was gorgeous. We really enjoyed selecting a vase to take home. I also appreciated the fact that the shop assistant left us to it and didn't make any suggestions etc - I much prefer shopping without feeling hassled. We would definitely come back here if we visit Gozo again!
