A family farm providing good, green fun and local produce for over 71 years. We offer 300 acres of pick-your-own fruits and vegetables, a Farm Market, and special events throughout the year. At our annual Pumpkin Festival enjoy a hayride, jump in the hayloft, swoosh down the giant slides, visit barnyard buddies, play the rubber duckie derby, and explore the corn maze! Enjoy beautiful fall foliage, live music, hand dipped caramel apples, and lots more!
I went to this place with a lot of elementary age children and we all had a great time. The staff are wonderful,The hayride was fun, and the blueberries we picked were delicious! There is also a playground and a few animals. There isn't much shade, so make sure to dress accordingly! Oh and BRING WATER!!

Very clean and welcoming, the Lancaster Dutch market has a great selection of food items including meats, cheeses, salads, vegetables, donuts, pies, pretzels, jams, baking mixes. pickles and lots more. There is also a wide selection of prepared foods including fried chicken, ribs, mac and cheese and the like. Prices are a bit on the high side but the selection is great and everything looks fresh.

I rate this area a five not for the nature. As a teenager of 14 my friends and I grew up in Montgomery Village as some of the very first residents. Long before the internet and even video games we played in the construction lots surrounding our neighborhoods and practically lived in the woods on Seneca Creek. Although a little bit of a hike. we would take the deer trails along the creek to the back end of the old junk yard that used to sit on the very spot the 355 pull off is now. One day we were riding bikes to the main park and saw my friends uncle speed by in his police cruiser with his lights on as we emerged from Game Preserve Rd onto 355 and saw the police at the junkyard. My friends uncle shooed us away after telling him they had found bodies in berried cars. A week later we went back and they were removing all the cars and a week after that you almost could not tell anything had been there at all but my friend said his uncle told him they stopped looking for more cars and decided to clear the property now seized and maybe turn it into a park or something to try to move on. I never saw or heard anything more about it but we noticed as kids that wildlife tends to avoid that side of the creek in that area and everything just seems a little bland or dull as compared to the rest of the trail,

Roos2u is a place like no other, where you can meet and interact with the most fascinating animals on the planet: kangaroos and wallabies! What makes our facility so unique? It is not like your average zoo visit. You actually get to go behind the scenes and interact with these critters! Visitors will enjoy bottle feeding, handing out treats, countless photo ops and even holding a joey!
Our visit to Roos2u was magical. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable about the animals and were very friendly and enthusiastic. We had the opportunity to hold and pet a joey (baby kangaroo), bottle-feed wallabies and red kangaroos, hand-feed giant rabbits, pet emus, and hand-feed cavys. As far as animal encounters go, this one was more intimate than many others I've enjoyed in the past including dolphins, owls, manatees, penguins, beluga whales, and other encounters. It is a truly hidden gem!

Stopped in after a trip to Frederick. The playground is hidden up the hill at the far end of the parking lot - but this park has just about everything -- except crowd. Playground was good size and empty. Adjoining picnic pavillions, a sand volley ball pit and restrooms. Parking: Free, large paved lots Amenities: two turf fields. multiple diamonds, outdoor roller hockey rink, dog park, trails, etc.. Would recommend: Yes! Would re-patronize: Yes!
