My daughter and I visited Seoraksan as part of a month long trip around South Korea. We stayed in Sokcho-si for 3 nights and this proved to be an excellent choice as a local number 7 or 7-1 bus takes you into the gates of the National Park for 1250₩ The park has multiple routes and trails you can follow of varying distances and heights to climb. There is a cable car to one of the peaks but we opted for a 3km climb (mostly steps but initially there are rocky paths to clamber up) to Towangseongpokpo. The MOST STUNNING views when I finally made it to the top! My daughter danced on ahead like it was no effort ???? I’ve attached a few pictures - if you are visiting South Korea and are able to squeeze in a day trip to Seoraksan, I promise it will be worth it!

388/5000 view of gyeongpo beach in mid-december 2019. The beach is very beautiful for children to play even though the cold wind blows very hard and big waves. the cold experience while walking paid off with a visit to a very large number of seafood restaurants at affordable prices. about 50% cheaper compared to the same menu at the hotel we stayed.

This's my 1st time here and I'm so fall for it. It seems like every corner is an oeuvre. And if you like taking photo then you shouldn't miss this amazing museum. There are 3 theme gardens here. First is Flower garden in full blossom, the next one is Water Garden where a dazzling display of water reflects the surroundings, and finally Ando Tadao's Stone Garden featuring nine stone mounds inspired by ancient Silla tombs. [Museum Ticket] Adults 28,000 won / Students (elementary, middle, high school students) 18,000 won [Gallery Ticket] Adults 15,000 won / Students (elementary, middle, high school students) 10,000 won Follow my IG for more korea travel spots IG@Ngocanhcrystal

Ojukheon House is an exquisitely preserved part of the Korean history which is definitely worth a vist. It is a peaceful place which houses the old house where Yuglok and his mother lived, museums showcasing korean history and lifestyle during various eras. The digitized images of Sin Saimdang's paintings are a beautiful sight. We visited during autumn and the fall foliage adds a unique charm to the place and makes it even more aesthetically pleasing.
