Hercules Glade is over 121,000 acres of spectacular wilderness. In the spring the glades for which it is named teem with dozens of varieties of wild flowers. In the summer, the hills offer a riot of different shades of green. The hardwoods of the hills show off their colors in the autumn, and in the winter, the leafless trees open up vistas of the rocky hills and glades. Long Creek shutins are worth the hike. One suggestion for making your day at Hercules more pleasant; don't park up at the ranger tower, which is built at the top of the hill (down, down, down when you're fresh; up, up, up when you're weary!) The other two trailheads offer access to the best parts of Hercules Glade without as strenuous an exit hike at the end of your time there.

Sight & Sound Theatres is the nation's largest Christian theatre company and one of the highest attended live theatres on the East Coast and in the Midwest. This inspiring family experience includes a majestic 2000-seat theatre, a massive 300-foot wrap-around stage, a professional cast, spectacular sets up to 40 feet high and a variety of live animals. Go back in time and witness the greatest stories of the Bible as they come to life right before your eyes!
Whatever Sight and Sound is showing when you come to Brandon, DON’T MISS IT! We’ve seen Ruth, Joseph, Jonah, the Miracle of Christmas, and (most recently) Samson. They have all been top notch. Please be aware that the writers/producers take quite a bit of liberty with the stories, although they definitely try to not add anything that would go against what the Bible says. I have a few serious issues with some of their basic doctrines, but I know that going in. I don’t go to learn the Bible (I have a degree in Theology). I go there to enjoy a family-friendly, Bible-based drama. I highly recommend it!

I just visited Branson Zipline at Wolfe Mountain over spring break with my 6 & 9 year old daughters. They weren't heavy enough to zipline so we tried out Snowflex Park! It.was.AMAZING!! So much fun! You get an hour and it is worth every penny! It was our favorite thing we did all week. There is a 'magic carpet' that takes you to the top of the hill. My girls had a little trouble catching their balance to get on it and also hang on to the tube. About the third time, they got the hang of it and it was a breeze! We will definitely be back!

College of the Ozarks, known as "Hard Work U," is more than a college. It's a destination with tons of family-friendly activities, including two museums, an old-fashioned grist mill, fruitcake and jelly kitchen, stained glass studio, and exquisite 4-star dining at Dobyns Dining Room in The Keeter Center. It's a great way to spend a day while you are in the Branson area. The only thing that requires admission is the Ralph Foster Museum ($6 Adults, $5 Seniors, and Free to all 18 and under). Dobyns Dining Room offers a farm to table experience without breaking the bank. Come learn why this unique college is nationally known.
Nice campus to visit while in Branson. Get some student made ice cream or other gifts that are available in the store in front of the campus.

The Ralph Foster Museum contains a vast collection of artifacts with special emphasis on the history and culture of the Ozark Mountain Region. Originally housed in Abernathy Hall, a boy's dorm on the campus of College of the Ozarks, the building has been transformed into three floors of exhibits where visitors will find many items of interest, such as antiques, dolls, clocks, music items, a large firearms collection, natural history, and textiles, in addition to the Beverly Hillbillies truck that was used in the television series.
The Ralph Foster Museum is located on the beautiful campus of the College of the Ozarks near Branson, MO. It is easy to drive to and the security person at the gate gave me directions. The museum was only $6 and covers three floors. The...MoreThank you for visiting!

The show was professional and polished—a little too polished. This family is definitely talented, and the music was fun and diverse. The light show was impressive, but I got the feeling that a lot of it was purposely distracting from the performers, who lacked energy—probably because they were lip syncing and not playing their instruments half the time.
The end of the show employed a blatant tactic to force a standing ovation, by paying tribute to US veterans with a few seconds of the National Anthem. It’s not necessary to stand for the anthem, but most people don’t know that, so people started standing up. Far be it from me to remain sitting when a Midwest crowd stands to show their patriotism. I didn’t want to be beaten up in the parking lot after being taken for a commie. So I gave a standing ovation along with the rest of the crowd. At least it got people moving out of the building faster.
We were entertained, and it wasn’t a waste of two hours, but we’ll probably pick something else next time.

Stopped in here with my bestie while at the landing! Great selection of games and attractions for all ages! Pricing was decent, especially for an arcade! Prizes were also great and attainable. I remember going to arcades as a kid and only getting crap but not at Arcade City! And there was a selection of prizes for all ages, not just kids! Can’t wait to go back and play again!

We always attend mass here when in Branson. This is a newer church in a pleasant setting. The locals and clergy are very friendly and seem appreciative that visitors take time to stop by. You will experience an awkward delay leaving, as the large amount of vehicles have some difficulty blending into traffic onto W 76 Blvd....just allow an extra 5-10 minutes.

The Jerry Presley "Elvis Live !" tribute show at Jerry's God & Country Theatre is by far the best Elvis' memories in Branson. Jerry's stage presence is stunning. The band & backup singers are superb and add to the extremely professional performance. It is obvious that Jerry truly enjoys performing his tribute to his cousin Elvis. We come to see Jerry each trip that we make to Branson and his show just keeps on inspiring and getting better. Don't miss all three of Jerry's Elvis Tribute Shows. Best value on HWY 76 for sure.
