We are the oldest public dedicated golf range on the Mornington Peninsula. Most bays are undercover and face east towards a cups like valley. We also offer woodfired pizza, local beer and wine, coffee on our beautiful terrace.
I wanted to hit a few balls prior to a round, so headed to the Truemans golf range. I wasn’t even aware there were beers and pizza available, so thoroughly enjoyed hitting a bucket and enjoying a craft beer. The signage for no drivers is well defined, and completely reasonably when you see the size of the property. So hitting wedges at the barrel ( free beer barrel ) and a few long irons was more than enough for a pre game hit out. The beer was a bonus, and I’d definitely go back

Located on the Mornington Peninsula an hour and a half south of Melbourne, St Andrews Beach is Tom Doak’s first effort in Australia. The front nine is a wonderful and engaging ride with a links design and feel while the back nine is there to test your merit. Like so many of the great courses in Australia, St Andrews Beach is highlighted by its short par fours and the risk/reward element that comes with it. In high winds the fairways are generous enough to still hit but your skill will be tested on the approach shots where the sloping edges are quick to shed off shots that aren’t spot on. When you miss the green you’ll likely be in a bunker or on short grass where you’ll need to pinch a wedge off a tight lie or simply pull out your putter and roll it across the fairway apron and onto the putting surface. While some courses on the famous Melbourne Sandbelt are routed on flat terrain, going south to the Mornington Peninsula guarantees you’ll get to enjoy undulated ground with St Andrews Beach laying along nicely rolling earth that is engaging to play golf on while still lending itself to walking. Conditioning isn’t as impressive as the clubs in Melbourne but is certainly good enough to not detract from the enjoyment of the round. Power carts are available to take for players that prefer not to walk and the modest clubhouse offers logo gear and food. If you’ve come to Australia to see a kangaroo (or the smaller wallabies) then St Andrews Beach is quick to please you as they are commonly found bounding along the property with the early morning and evenings being the prime time for them to be out and about.

ART, NATURE AND PLAY on the Mornington Peninsula Boneo Discovery Park is located just 90 minutes from Melbourne CBD. Boneo Discovery Park is 27 acres of wetlands and gardens with mini golf, rides, giant games and world class sand sculpting exhibition. With a calendar of popular events such as NYE, Autumn Fest, WinterGlow and annual Sand Sculpting exhibition.
Had a great time and for price (For sculptures and park entry $15 / $12 kids and seniors) really worth it. Saw a lot of reviews prior to going criticising the maintenance of the park. I thought it was fine given the price. It is a small business they do the best they can. Also read about service being rude but the person i dealt with both in front and at the ride was really nice - she even gave my son a free carousel ride. Sand sculptures was nice and not crowded as it used to be at Frankston beach. My son is in prep and the alphabets theme was very fitting. We also tried the AR app on each. A lot of board games to entertain the kids and the mazes were a lot of fun. Not too crowded and busy and a lot of free space for social distancing which was a big plus during the current covid times. My son kept the map and already wants to go again. We will be back. Thank you!
