The roman cisterns have been builted in the 1st century after Christ by the roman colony Firmum Picenum to storage potable water for the town. 30 rooms divided in 3 lines per 2.200 square metres
WE visited this on Thursday evening during the antiques market. Nice to have a look at how ingenious the ROmans were! It is just a 30 minute visit and all you can see is the tanks, but if you realise when and why and how...MoreDear sir, we are in late but we would like to thank you for your nice review!

Wonderful location. Interesting architecture but there's very little to do. Some guided tours to find the secrets of the town would help. When there is an event is a wonderful place.

That is a beautiful theatre. 5 tiers and stunning interior. The theatre is located almost on the top of the hill right in the centre of historical town Fermo. They hold Andrea Postacchini International Violin Competitions once a year. It was a great experience for us!

This place is temporarily closed due to damages from the earthquake.
I honestly don't remember that much about the inside of the Duomo. I remember hiking uphill for a while to get to it. And I remember a lovely view from the top. But the inside didn't make much of an impression. If you are up for going uphill, then give it a shot.

This was an interesting place. You start on the ground floor with archeological things and historic and governmental things for Fermo. Upstairs is some nice art, especially a great Rubins. Then the security person unlocks the door to the library, and wow! Carved wood ceiling,...MoreDear sir, we are sorry but unfortunately our copyright conditions are not allowing at the moment taking any picture inside the museums. This cafe is awesome! I love it!
Finally a bar here in Fermo that close late in the night and the local is very nice; many paintings on the walls and some art sculptures. Staff is very kind and charismatic.
Worth really take a coffee here! :-)
