We visited last week and was pleasantly surprised with the beautiful mansion now converted into a museum. It has beautiful stain glass windows that has been built on site and are replica of stain glass windows from European Churches. The guide was pleasant and knowledgeable.
The variety of artifacts and attention to details are impeccable. It also houses the pieces collected by the family from Egypt , Greece and other parts of the world.
Definitely worth the time in the beautiful surrounding !!!
Will be definitely going back during their Fall festival for various activities and special tours.

Smoke & Mirrors Magic Theater

ABOUT THE SMOKE & MIRRORS MAGIC THEATER The theater is a custom-designed sixty seat magic theater, built in the European style, with the focus on perfect sight lines and sound for the audience and unmatched conditions for the performer. While these types of theaters are popping up in different cities in Europe, to the best of our knowledge, this will be the first such theater in the US.

The pictures unfortunately are not up to-date. It must have been remodeled recently because the interior is brand new. Absolutely gorgeous inside. It is a little tough to find the theater as it is in the back of a complex. The magic show was amazing. My wife and I decided to check it out as a last minute date idea. At $25 a seat, we had no idea of what to expect. There were only 6 seats left and they were in the back so we were a little concerned. We called the theater and the owner personally answered the phone and assured us that no seat was a bad seat. He wasn't kidding. We were the farthest possible distance from the stage and we could clearly see everything. There are only 4 rows of seats and the rows are stadium style so every seat is literally a great seat.

We saw the "Catch Me" Magic duel show. It was spectacular. The magicians had a great sense of humor and play with the audience and we alternated between laughing hysterically and being blown away by the illusions. There is a high degree of audience participation if you want it but you are not placed on the spot if you don't. My wife was able to participate in two illusions and it was a highlight of the night for her. If you are looking for a great night out, you definitely need to check out Smoke and Mirrors!

I frequent the park often. There are no many well maintained trails. There are paved trails and some paths through the woods. The park has horse trails too. Trails are well marked. There are often events like a craft show in the fall, yoga, and fund raiser races. There is Frisbee golf and picnic areas. You take varies loops so can walk a mile, or 10 or more.

Churchville Nature Center

Reviewed By Sharon F - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Churchville Nature Center has always been on the cutting edge of providing unique outdoor and nature related programs. Kids camps from early ages until preteen ages for several seasons, eco sports and trips to other parts of the Americas, an Award winning recreation of and educational program about the Leni Lenape native Americans who lived in this area, complete with a reconstructed village, trails, weekly and free bird watching walks, and now, an amazing Butterfly House that not only lets you walk amongst freely flying butterflies that live in Easten Pennsylvania, but also rears them from eggs and releases them, all based on the latest science. And almost 99 percent of everything is fine by volunteers! This is not a state or national parks folks...this is a community, County owned property in the middle of development! But it is responsible for starting many children of all ages onto a rewarding pathway in appreciating and loving and protecting nature. And along the way, several of thise folks who met here became partners in life. Who can argue with love in all of its forms? It is a wonderful plac that sometimes sparks with pure magic. They have special events, programming, targeted ecological trips, kid stuff, you name it!the trails are terrific, and it sits in the edge of a reservoir, so the forested trails empty at that shore. And th newly expanded building is now LEED -certified . You need to experience the place in all of its moods...quiet, bustling, cold, hot, sunny, rainy, with few people and with many coming together for some event. A great way to be in nature in the suburbs, for all ages.

Neshaminy Mall

Reviewed By BillD5853338 - Newtown, Pennsylvania

This place is the second Mall ever created in the United States. The first one was the Cherry Hill mall in New Jersey. This place was well populated with patrons year round and never an empty space to be found. Today, with young people and most Americans buying on line, this mall has become a shell of itself. The best note to say about it is the movie theatre is attached down one hallway and a Barnes and Noble built out in another section of this one story mall. the Macy's is gone as are so many major anchor department stores from the past. The food court has all the usual suspects, none are great food. It's a shame but the way of the world right now.
