I went for a preview of the opening of Classic Race Simulators. Easily the best place in the Hampshire area for a proper racing simulator! Jim and Trevor are friendly good guys made the whole experience worth every penny! There’s a great viewing area where you can watch your friends battle it out for track position while you have a sit down for 5 minutes. You won’t be sitting long you’ll be wanting to be back on track! Everything is clean and professional couldn’t recommend them enough ????????

Important notice: FAST Museum CLOSED. The FAST Museum will be closed to the general public from this Saturday 14 March until further notice as a precaution due to the Coronavirus. We will update you as we get more information. Under normal circumstances, please note that the Museum is open to the public on Saturdays, Sundays & Bank Holiday Mondays only, 10am-4pm. Please call ahead to avoid disappointment. Group visits can be booked on Tuesdays or Thursdays for a small charge. Farnborough Air Sciences Museum is located on Farnborough's historic aviation site in North Hampshire and right next to Farnborough Airport. The museum is dedicated to Farnborough's proud aviation heritage and significant contribution to air science and research, and offers an important educational resource as well as an entertaining and stimulating day out for anyone interested in aviation history and scientific progress.
What a brilliant little museum! I loved the eclectic mix of aircraft science memorabilia. The enthusiastic staff were on hand to explain everything, including exactly how Whittle's earliest jet engine works. The replica of Cody's airplane was superb and the audio recording of his first flight in it (spoiler alert: it's very short!) really brought the exhibit to life. It's free to enter - donations encouraged.

Also known Farnborough Abbey, St. Michael’s Abbey is an absolute gem of great historic interest. It’s a beautiful French-style church in Farnborough, Hampshire built by the Empress Eugenie of France to house the remains of her husband, Emperor Napoleon III and their son, the Prince Imperial. The Empress is also buried there. The church and the history behind it is well worth the visit. The guided tour (check their website, it’s on Saturdays at 3pm; be sure to try to be buzzed in through the gates ten to fifteen minutes before the tour starts) takes you inside the church and into the imperial crypt. There may be no signs at the gate, but there is a small note saying “Abbey” where you ring the buzzer to be allowed into the grounds. It’s easily accessible by train and car from London (an easy five-minute walk from Farnborough train station). There’s a nice gift shop too where you can find some nice souvenirs of your visit. Do visit, you won’t be disappointed!

Our family's first time at VUE Farnborough to watch Incredibles 2, and we were surprised how new and comfortable the facilities were, especially so when you consider this branch's prices at under a fiver. Seats were comfortable, sufficient legroom, booming sound system and crisp screen. Amazing and truly incredibles! Hope that it stays that way.

Southwood is a public Golf Course, located close to Farnborough town centre and Farnborough Airport. It is a picturesque and tightly tree lined course providing an enjoyable and challenging test ideal for beginners and low handicappers alike. Its immaculate greens are widely regarded as being amongst the best in Hampshire, yet the green fees are amongst the lowest in the area.

Not been bowling for years but took grandkids as a treat. With covid in mind it was very well run by pleasant staff and clean. As soon as our session finished they were cleaning everything down. Good system in place for drinks ordering as well. Definitely go again as fantastic trip out.

Based in Farnborough, Hampshire this blockbuster of a track boasting two levels with a 425m circuit and a 375m circuit which can be joined to create one epic 800m international track!
Great time as usual at TeamSport, Covid measures were very good, all staff & customers wearing masks. Good track time, minimal lights and extra session for £10, can’t go wrong! Will be back of course. Special thanks to Darren, Avan & Mason.

The play area park is fantastic here and always seems well maintained. The woods are what’s expected from woods, rather small however.
