These beautiful gardens inspired Impressionist Claude Monet's most famous work.
Excellent place to visit, we are so lucky this is available for us to visit looks spectacular, did a tour on bus was great double decker air conditioned coach with informative narrative on history and life of Claude Monet. Loved this even my husband and 21 yr old son who are not garden lovers loved this trip. Well worth a visit will not be disappointed.

This is a really lovely Cathedral with amazing ironwork and a new organ all in a setting with misericords and beautiful stonework. Considering how much damage it took in WW2 it is a must see, and right next door to a gem of a museum and art gallery housed in the Bishop's Palace with a car park right behind both . Well worth a visit.

We visited these gardens in Ocober, and I was was not sure if we were going to be able experience the beauty of the gardens that I had read about. Despite the time of year, there were many beautiful flowers. Monet designed the-gardent to be beautiful year round. There were only a few waterlilies in bloom, but the flowers surrounding the pond provided a perfect "frame" for my many photos. I would like to return each season to experience this artists living picture!

Lovely small Flamboyant Gothic Cathedral with an organ and old and new stained glass. You can visit it for free. This church is still in progress and you may assist to a mass. Very much affected by humidity and rain water through the ages. Funds are needed for renovation!

A beautiful building of early renaissance style (I think); free entrance; lots of things to see in the three floors (except that at present, the floor below the surface are closed for renovation. Some interesting modern art on the top floor, a permanent collection.

Preferred this to the gallery in Giverny it was under 5 euros to get in and there was lots to see. Paintings by Monet's family of his house and garden, other Impressionists and we especially enjoyed the animal paintings. The old building it is in is delightful.

We arrived at opening time and glad we did as the place got busier as the day went on with annual ticket holders. There are 2 parts to this place: The indoors tropical section full of free flying birds, bird houses, fish, crocodiles etc. The signage was great and we managed to see lots of feeding sessions; more than any other wildlife centre we have been to. Outside there were penguins, kangaroos, meercats, cheetahs and a petting zoo. We loved the layout and how it was separated into different geographical locations wit the right designs to match. We found a large picnic area with free roaming peacocks. Overall, we found this day a highlight of our holidays and found it really good value for money, on a par with large famous city zoos which do not have the tropical areas. PS the kimodo dragon was so lively and fun to watch!
