İsmet İnönü who is the hero of liberation war has used this house to stay and to lead the army. Life size waxes of him and his comrades are exhibited in the study room. You may watch the videos and take a photo together with ATATÜRK in front of National Assembly.

The Valley of Phrygian nearby Eskişehir hosts a very interesting ancient remnants of Phrygia such as an altar, cistern and aqua-duct system, acropolis, and famous inscribed rock (Yazılıkaya). Phrygians are one of the ancient people of Anatolia (8th century BC). The Yazılıkaya area is one of the significant remnants of the Phrygian Era. In addition to the ancient historical features, it is a very nice trail to walk and take photos around. At the beginning of the valley there is a cafe operated by local people and offered local delicious pastries and drinks (Tutkun Cafe). You can go there by your car or by a guided tour.

M.S.O. Air and Space Museum became a part of Sivrihisar General Aviation Center-Necati Artan Fascilities in 2018. Many aircrafts which have contributed to the development of World aviation and which have historical valve are exhibited in the museum The most distinguished aspect of M.S.O. Air and Space Museum is being a “Flying Museum”.
M.S.Ö. Air & Space Museum is one of the few flying museums in the world where one can see 1940 DC-3 "Turkish Delight" getting pulled out of the hangar while world famous Mustang P-51D "Ferocious Frankie" is flying over your head! The aircrafts are at arm's length distance and seeing so many airworthy vintage aircrafts is a blessing.

Odunpazarı Modern Museum is a cross-cultural platform where modern and contemporary art from Turkey and abroad is exhibited with a universal perspective.
Modern museum is in the temporary list of UNESCO world heritage. Has been constructed by two Japanese architects. It is composed of wooden volumes. It is in the district of Odunpazarı. It has cross cultural platforms and contemporary art from Turkey and abroad.I admired the bamboo structure made by Tanabe Chicuunsai IV, he has used traditional bamboo basket weaving techniques and used the tiger bamboo grown only on a Japanese mountain. You shouldnt miss this art object.

Eskişehir is a small university town with an incredible Mayor who has literally transformed this boring town into a vibrant and exciting place full of cultural activities. The archeological Museum was a totally unexpected surprise! Rebuilt and restored some years ago, it houses beautiful objects from the Phrygians and other civilisations, all very well presented and very children friendly, as there are several gimmicks for children to play with while learning about the past. A visit here is definitely a must!

Kent park is, I believe, the biggest park in Eskişehir, with big lake inside it and a small river surrounding it on the other end, it lovely place. You can spend good times with kids, and family. Winter is different, I found only two restaurants opening, all other cafeterias were closed... Possibly in other seasons, all will be opening.
