This is amazing, especially for families with kids!! It's free, has indoor and outdoor sections, live animals, even a really nice little gift shop. Wish we had more time to spend there. Would love to see it at various times of year. Hope I get to go back!

We really enjoyed the tour and the tastings! Just not come on an empty stomach or you may get a little loopy! Really a great place to bring a date. We thought the bar was well priced for their flights of whiskey. Staff really makes it a memorial experience!

Pirates Cove Family Fun Aquatic Center

We brought several small children who really seemed to have a good time. The price point is excellent for the value received. The lazy river is very small, there are three large waterslides, and a very good place set/splash area. All in all, it answered the mail for a hot day. It's pretty basic, I didn't see any employees who appeared to be majority age, and it sure was packed. We arrived at opening and it was essentially full within minutes.

they are so generous with their tastings! It cost $5 and we had a tasting before the tour and an even bigger one after the tour. Plan around having lunch or dinner at their great restaurant. In the summer it is a great place to play corn hole and take in the mountain views!

Belleview Park

Reviewed By EvBeE - Denver, Colorado

This is a well maintained park with a little stream running through it that is a major draw to the park - lots of kids wadding -- it is shallow so perfect for kids. One side of it has playgrounds for various age groups. The other side has the train and petting zoo. I brought my grandchildren on a day during the week. The playground for the older kids was very crowded. ALOT, of day cares use this park . It was a little overwhelming from that aspect. The train is $1.75 a ride; and the petting farm is an additional $1.75. The train ride is around 7 minutes. The petting zoo has a pig, chickens, goats and sheep. I would not pay for the petting zoo again as my grandkids lost interest in it pretty soon (they are 8). There are several bathrooms and lots of people with blankets and having picnics on them. There is also a large picnic shelter. I think the park is best for those under 10. Lovely area!

This is one of our favorite weekend destinations in Denver. It's a beautifully kept, fascinating place with various types of gardens, fantastic flowers, tucked-away corners with benches, reflection pools, fountains, ponds, and a jaw-dropping tropical greenhouse. There are regular sculpture and art exhibits, concerts, a couple of great little restaurants, some great permanent exhibits. There is a children's garden that is fun for kids under 10, the gift shop has really nice things, and the annual plan sales are great.

Just went to the Dirk's Bentley, Cole Swindell and John Pardi concert. Great venue and great sound. This place is really amazing. I prefer reserved seating but for the young folk, the grass seating is cool. I have been here before. The only negative I would mention is for the females, there is limited restrooms so plan your business. If you go during intermission, plan on a wait, 10-20 minutes if you are lucky.

Attended a comedy show filming for a prominent and popular modern comedian. The staff was quite respectful as they informed us of the filming procedure and what to expect once arriving inside and taking our seats. Best part was that it was absolutely free! We had a great time at this filming and will definitely be returning for future events.

Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art

Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art has relocated to a new golden building in Denver’s Golden Triangle Creative District. The museum’s new building offers visitors an enhanced experience with more display space while staying true to the salon style and intimate atmosphere for which the Kirkland is known. The museum’s three collections are: • International Decorative Art—A celebrated collection including notable examples of every major design period from Arts & Crafts to Postmodern. • Colorado & Regional Art—The largest repository of art showcasing the state and region’s talent, concentrating on the 1840s through the 1990s with about 7,000 works more than 700 artists. • Vance Kirkland Retrospective—Kirkland (1904–1981) is generally considered Colorado’s most distinguished modern painter. About 550 paintings and about 600 drawings and prints are held in his estate collection. Note: Due to the fragile nature of the collections children must be 13 or older to be admitted.
