My wife and I recently visited this community park for the first time. Located at 4770 North Peachtree Road this 110+ acre park is the largest in the region. We enjoyed walking the 2+ mile paved trails that run throughout the park. (Bike, scooter and Dog friendly(must be on a leash). Benches are strategically provided along the trail where you can sit and rest. (also offers the Brook Run Bird Walk trail). After finishing our exercise we enjoyed a snack at one of the multiple picnic tables by the kid’s playground. We also visited the Veterans Memorial. This park is extremely busy and a great place to people watch. Very safe, well maintained and family friendly. Opens daily at 7am. Plenty of parking in multiple lots. Other park features include: 1-Children Adventure Garden is a huge Kids playground with benches, sit down area with tables, restrooms, and a water feature (stream) that runs through the playground (operates during the summer months) 2-Community Garden 3-Huge dog park (Two wooded acres for off leash exercise). Separate areas for small and large dogs 4-Largest skate park (lighted) in the region. Challenges any skill level 5-Two new lighted baseball fields featuring artificial turf (multi-sport overlay for baseball, softball and soccer) 6-Treetop Quest offers adventures including 12 zip-line adventures and 52 obstacles (picnic tables available) 7-Veterans Memorial directly across from the Kid’s playground FYI...There is construction currently going on with more features being added.
