One of my favourite courses in the area. The condition of the course has always been great, the greens are true. Every hole has its own unique character. You can also enjoy the fantastic views of the Peak District in the distance. Fantastic club house and very welcoming staff and members. I believe that Mark Rowe has this has one of his favourites to play. Looking forward to coming back. 4 handicap

We happily stumbled upon this pub when we missed a turn on the sat-nav. (We were actually on our way to another pub!) but we saw the Travellers Rest - which looked like a welcome oasis - and we could not resist. The pub was brimming with warm and friendly locals, the staff very helpful. The food is superb. Generous portions, good beers and a great price. Food was served piping hot and was delicious. The locals were all very friendly and welcoming.

Well where to start, this is our favourite pub ever, great landlords and staff, always up for the banter, the people that go in this pub are the salt of the earth, fabulous selection of beers and gins, plus lots of homemade bar snacks, little gem in the middle of the countryside, we ll definitely be spending time here over the Christmas period
