Dragon Rock Reptile Centre is situated in the heart of the beautiful Drakensberg in Kwazulu Natal. We are a nature and reptile centre. We believe education is the most powerful weapon with which we can change the world around us. That is why we strive to educate people about the animals we have and animals in general. Combining the nature centre with our reptile centre we aim to send people home more aware of their environment.
Awesome experience with a truly knowledgeable guide. It's both entertaining and educational. We loved getting up close and personal with the animals and being a part of the experience in such a beautiful place. Highly recommended.

Monks Cowl is an exquisite place to visit. It offers many hiking trails for different experience and fitness levels. We paid R45 per adult and R20 per child. We did the Sterkspruit Falls route, stopping at the beautiful Sterkspruit Waterfall and Pools. Total circular distance was approximately 3.5 Km. Do yourself a favour and bring along your swimwear, a towel and a picnic basket and enjoy the cool water at the Pools.

After visiting the Cathedral Peak area, we headed for the wine estate where we had phoned the previous day to ensure an afternoon slot. Friendly welcome, informative introduction and a history of this beautiful estate. Large food platter was ordered, wines chosen(R10 per wine), we sat outside and thoroughly enjoyed the ambience, the interesting relaxed wine talk and many very good wines, mostly Rose and reds were enjoyed. All shared with an excellent food platter, this was the decadence that is part of our calling- delightful experience. Wines purchased and we headed back to our accommodation at Winterton Country Lodge. Good to meet a fellow Stormers fan...

Pucketty Farm Stall is an epicurean delight. All of our products are homemade. Baskets groaning with our fresh home baked goodies. Pies, quiches, pates, puddings, locally made farm cheeses filling our display fridge. Shelves displaying our vast range of jams and marmalades, pickles and chutneys. Old fashioned ginger beer, pickled onions, and much, much more. We are well known for our unique honesty system and, let's face it, it's refreshing to be trusted in this day and age. A one-stop shop, in a relaxed atmosphere, where you simply write you purchases in the book provided, put your money the box and take your change.
